Great vid. I have this system in my Lexus and it's as good as any aftermarket system I've had installed in the past (Morel, JL, Alpine, Boston Acoustics). Even playing DVDs in this system sounds like a great home theater system.
I had a 2016 Audi s6 with the Bang & Olufsen music system I now own a 2021 Lexus RX 450h with the Mark Levinson system.in my opinion the M.L. Sounds better then the B&O system.the only thing I miss is I can’t rip any CD to a memory hard drive like I could in the B&O system I had 75 CD ripped to the hard drive & it was all uncompressed music in playback.i can only play one CD at a time in the ML with no memory hard drive .now Lexus has done away with the CD player in the 2022 LX600.sad day for audiophiles.
I have actually thought about renting a vessel just to try out a modern sound system within. I usually listen to AM radio while I drive. There's no way to enhance the sound quality of AM radio, other than turning down the bass and treble. (and avoiding power lines and Amazon trucks) I love AM radio, they talk about stuff that would get a person kicked off this platform. Also, I'm so glad to see that Lexus has a CD player. You can't beat the simplify of just putting in a CD and NOT having to fiddle around with a phone to make music happen. It's too bad SACD didn't survive to the present where there is cars with multichannel audio.
Lmao AM radio. What a sad and pathetic existence for its listeners. I’ve always wondered who’s bitter and sad enough in life to listen to AM radio but here we are. I have the Mark Levinson in my Lexus RC350 F-sport. 17 speakers in all. I am a huge fan. Impossible to capture in a You Tube video. But if you get a chance, check it out.
I have a Nissan 2020 Maxima Platinum. The car has an 11 speaker Bose System and it sounds nice. With all of the cameras intergraded, my sound guy said, I would lose some functionality if I upgraded. I submitted my 04 Ultimate Navigator (Diamond Audio / Rockford Fosgate / Hertz Amplifiers / Kenwood Execlon Head Unit) in the Subscriber Showcase and it is all aftermarket. Listening to the same song in each vehicle is a noticeable difference. The Bose sounds good enough. Premium Bose system, complete with 11 high-performance speakers and Centerpoint, SurroundStage and Active Sound Management technologies.
@@KuyaArbee - The Bose sound has improved dramatically as I added a 12 inch subwoofer that allows the bass to be decreased so the other speakers can play mid / tremble.
Did you even read what I posted? If so, did you not comprehend? My 04 Ultimate Navigator has a 100% aftermarket audio system. My 2020 Platinum Maxima is under warranty and will not undergo a complete transformation. I have mobile as well as home systems that are pretty good. The Bose will be fine for now as I added a 12 inch subwoofer.

Go with the LS version sedan and you will be blown away. Much different level and you are paying for it.🤪 Yes, even better.🤪 Acura top tier system also kicks butt!😋😇 Cadillac also has a nuts top tier system that costs bug bucks but is nuts. And it's a Bose. Not the regular Bose paid for system. Bose should have named it the F YOU system to show what they can do.🤪 It has like 36 speakers or something like that. And I'm definitely not basing the sound on the number of speakers like an amateur.😇
This is a niche thing, but in future car stereo reviews, you could say if it's Drive-In Movie compatible Yes/No. You see, a lot of new cars convert the FM radio to digital 1'st thing in the signal path so it can apply DSP. However, this causes very strong lag on some cars, making a drive in movie not work. A way to test this is, get a video on a tablet of ppl talking and send it to the car radio an via FM transmitter connected to the headphone port and see if the lip-sync is ok. A Bluetooth FM transmitter is not a fair test because the Bluetooth can cause lag.
The only issue is mark sold and left the company decades ago. So its only the name not the man. Still sounds solid, but one cant help , but wonder what if?
@@KpaceguyB&O is definitely not better in SQ5 than ML in the RX. It’s night and day. B&O in any q5 is average. I currently have audison after market in my lexus and had B&O in Q5 & S5 and ML in RX and IS. Both ML sounded way better than than the B&O in Q5 and S5 .The after market sounds even better than the Mark Levinson. Please keep the reviews real. B&O with pop up tweeters does sound comparable as I’ve had it in my loaner and still I think the ML was hair better.
