When someone plays a move that's different from the computer recommendation, it's "they missed it" but when Magnus does it, it's "he disagrees with it"
dont forget during WC against Fabi, Magnus actually made a move better than the super computer and the super computer did not see it was the better move until after Carlsen made the move. the human mind is far more powerful than super computer with proper care
@@JeremyRobertWalker so one move apparently proves that the human mind is far more powerful than a super computer? Interesting. I get it the human mind is incredibly powerful but when it comes to calculations it will never beat a computer
AGAD: This is why you need to have the eval bar on the side of the board. Chessbrah's Aman says you shouldn't have it because you're better off trying to find the best move on your own BUT the eval bar doesn't tell you the best line(s), it only evals the position. Plus, you don't know if the move you "find" is good or not - but the eval bar can tell you quickly if it's a blunder. I think your videos which are already great could really be enriched with the eval bar. Please consider it.
For everyone wondering if it is worth it, or if it is boring to watch games live It is really spectacular, with top commentary from David Howell, Ginger GM and the ladies. Watching players reactions live, the elo bar shifting from side to side and the clocks hitting 5s or below Only problem is, when you start following the game, you can't stop, and they do last a while, so you will end up losing most of your afternoon.
It was epic to watch it live with commentators trying to solve the position, so you can appreciate their resourcefulness and gut in time scramble. Kg4 by Ian and d5 by Magnus take some serious gut there. Such a high level game
Just Amazing chess by both players with a brilliant breakdown of the moves by Agad which reveals the strategies of both sides. Really high level and brutal play and, as the Man says, the final draw seems an appropriate way for the game to end.
This time I got both "pause the video" moves ...and I am not even playing chess, just enjoying agadmator's videos daily. Thanks and keep up the great work!
I like how some people were saying, Oh, Magnus’ time is up. Losing to all these new players, he should just get a new job.” Then he makes it to the finals. 🤣
@@Yusuf_K7 I don't understand do you want validation for your statement or what? No one is arguing that Magnus isn't the world championship regardless of whether they like him or not...
I think he's the strongest player of all time honestly. I was waiting but the more he achieves the more certain I become. It would still be amazing to see him going against the greats but sadly 🤷🏾♂️.
I think also because piece sacrifices in the opening often win. For example, the noob opening 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 f6 is quickly refuted by Nxf5, sacrificing the knight to open the king.
I want to see them battling in many finals! Especially rapid games were Nepo is more on par with Mags. The 3 last ones were bonkers, i need rest for the next 4 games…yikes
Yeah. Though it was more of a queen+bishop+2pawns vs queen+rook endgame that was just calculated to end in a draw like that, which makes it more believable
@@COBRA-rq1ig You're not getting the point bro. You don't have anything without power and, well, functioning society. There's been Magnus Carlsen's all throughout history that never realized their potential due to war.
Uh. War drove the innovations in computing which drove innovations in chess play. Ever hear of Alan Turing? Sad to say that the opposite of your point is true.
I know it's rapid, but why didn't Nepo try something like this in the WCC - at least to try and get Magnus out of his opening preparation and have him using his imagination over the board?
Because after the opening you still have to play the middle and end games. Therein lies the problem. You're still playing chess with Magnus Carlsen, and unless what you're planning is brilliant and indefensible, he's probably still going to be able to draw you at least. Endgames are where Carlsen pays the bills.
In 2:00 some may wonder why not going for Qxd4?? instead of 0-0: This is because white can “sac” the rook with Qc2, defending the bishop. Qxa1 Bb2 Qxa2 and Ra1 will trap the queen ending up with a better game for white.
