🌍 The universe, a vast and mysterious whole, has fascinated mankind for millennia. Made up of billions of galaxies, stars, planets and other celestial objects, it is the scene of incredible phenomena and secrets yet to be discovered. Our solar system, a tiny part of this immense cosmos, is a reduced model of the complexity and diversity of the universe. It consists of our star, the Sun, and everything orbiting it, including the eight main planets, their moons, asteroids and comets.
The gas giants of the solar system, in particular, are fascinating objects of study. Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune dominate in size and composition. Unlike rocky planets like Earth, these giants are made up mainly of gas, mainly hydrogen and helium. Jupiter, the most massive of them all, could hold all the other planets in the solar system within its bosom. Its great red spot, a persistent storm larger than the Earth itself, is one of its most recognizable features.
Saturn, famous for its majestic rings, is equally impressive. Its rings, composed of ice and rock, are a fascinating sight to behold. Uranus and Neptune, though less well known, are no less interesting. Uranus is unique in its steeply inclined axis of rotation, meaning that it almost rolls in its orbit around the Sun. Neptune, with its extremely powerful winds and dark spot, is the most distant and least explored planet in our solar system.
Gas giants play a crucial role in the dynamics of the solar system. Their immense gravity influences the trajectories of comets and asteroids, and they may have played a protective role in deflecting dangerous objects that could have struck the inner planets. Their many moons, some potentially harboring oceans beneath their icy surfaces, are prime targets for the search for extraterrestrial life.

💥Gaseous planets:
- Why aren't the four planets furthest from the sun solid?
Solar luminosity has defined two distinct zones in the solar system, separated by what is known as the ice line.
This imaginary demarcation plays a crucial role in the composition and formation of planets. To understand why the four planets furthest from the Sun - Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune - are not solid, it's essential to delve into the mechanisms of planetary formation and the influence of distance from the Sun.

The ice line, also known as the frost line, marks the boundary in the protoplanetary disk. This is a disk of gas and dust that surrounds a young star during the formation of a stellar system. Beyond this boundary, the temperature is low enough for volatile compounds such as water, methane, ammonia and carbon dioxide to condense into ice. This line is generally located at a distance where the temperature falls below around -123°C, allowing these compounds to change from a gaseous to a solid state. The exact position of the ice line can vary according to the luminosity of the central star and other local factors within the protoplanetary disk. In our solar system, it is located at around 5 AU, or 5 times the distance from the Earth to the Sun.

Hey can we lose the ticking sound when the date graphic is changing. It's come out as a horrible sound through my speakers. Like at 15:55 Thanks

Can't fall asleep to this one because the narrator sounds like Forrest Gump's smarter brother, but if you actually watch it, it's not bad.

Even though the narrator sounds like Forrest gump, I still think this is a pretty good video. Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get lol.
