Hey Splat - thrilled to see you back at TFM! Your previous video helped us A LOT while we were making design changes, and your insights are spot on and incredibly helpful, as always. We're actually gearing up for a major update that aligns closely with your suggestions, including new invasion challenges, a character path reroll feature, a system to inspire character leveling, plus much more! Your support and advocacy for indie games mean the world to us, and it's fantastic to have a champion like you in our corner. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on the upcoming changes. Keep being amazing!
Always glad to see developers in the comments of these videos! I'm really looking forward to this one. I still feel like it needs a little more time to cook, but looking at the roadmap you have I think I'm really going to really like the final result. Keep it up! I'm looking forward to this one!
This dude is crazy. He brings out videos like a maniac and always has awesome content and it's just better and better. I usually watch Splatter's videos to see which games I can play. Keep the good times rolling! Thank you for the videos!
LOL, just 5 days ago, suddenly, out of nowhere, I felt I need an update on this game (and on Amazing Cultivation Simulator), so I watched your old video to refresh my memory. And now this... Great timing!
The border of the impassable areas like the cave walls is very unclear. It fades to black just like the unexplored areas and it takes a closer look to even tell what's going on, I was super confused for a moment when you went in the cave and things weren't revealing.
Love your channel. Don't always wanna immediately play the games shown, in fact rarely due to genre, but i look forward to checking them out as they all look cool and I have fun investigating them on Steam. Like this game for instance, it looks so much better than Rimworld, the art is so eye popping and beautiful, just draws me in - now on my Following list, looking forward to the updates you recommended. Thanks Brother!
With the decay stacking resulting from age cycling, it would make sense to also include a master/apprentice mechanic to offset the productivity decline via accelerating new workers acquiring proficiency. Maybe differentiate between child and adult apprentices by giving the former faster skill gain for less productivity and the latter vice-versa.
considering their system, I think it would be so cool if they had an apprenticeship system. unlock a second work slot in each building for children that produce at 1/3 speed or something. If the adult worker has the 'decaying' stat, the stats they lose are transferred as XP to the child instead.
The game is wrong: you don't get stacks of decay when you hit 75. they actually start stacking up at the age of 40! If you are lucky that is. The fox tail is of use when you get to Opel Manta.
Reminds me of Cultures 2, a very niche but veery good strategy game, same tech style, you only unlock after the craftman gets enough skill in his trade
I'm playing this game and having such a BLAST !! Also at the beginning you talked about Mushrooms surprise as if they were Healing herbs/soup. I'm not sure but it seems that healing herbs can help the old people to endure decay, thus securing their legacy points. And mushrooms surprise is my favorite for the kids.
do you think he is jut waiting around for this one game to update? i'm sure he has a schedule that us preplanned by a week or so, and if he can squeeze something in, he'll do it. But its not as easy as just "timing it" perfectly for one of the devs are ready to update.. you know, you've been watching this channel long enough to know it works. why you throwin shade, choom
Hey Splat - If I was you I would go get something like an RX 6650 XT because they are really cheap - and can actually game fairly well and have AV1 encoding so it's fairly competent as a streaming card. It's a nice "backup" option which can basically run in any PC - so even if your whole system melts down you can stream on a bush-mechanic dumpster-diver PC using this card. I know - I know - it seems a bit "ehhhh" - but I was astonished how well it does this stuff. I only bought it as a "guest PC" GPU - but hell - I wouldn't actually have much issue running this as a main GPU. These budget GPUs are not what "budget" used to be for sure! If you stick to 1080p then it's actually insanely competent considering the "low performance" and "low price" impression most people have.
It is a free demo on Steam for a game called 'Knight's Path - The Tournament'. It needs a little bit of polish when it comes to combat timing, but it is a very strong demo already.@@MightyMan70
I really don't know how I feel about TFM. It's gone thru so many changes that it doesn't even function in the same way it did when I first bought it. I honestly don't like its recent iterations compared to the old way. Really don't know what to think of the direction the game seems to be going in.
The biggest thing that bugs me is that the color system and the traits used to be really important and influential. But with every major update they've de-emphasized that system to the point where it's not even in the game anymore really. The way the colors and traits built your characters was innovative. Now it's ambiguous and kinda clunky. Preferred the old system before the major overhaul.
Is this one of those where each subsequent level becomes more expensive, or do characters level at a steady rate? If the former, is the fact that rewards are for levelling, rather than for being levelled(except the buffs the warriors stack up) something that ever creates an incentive to try to get rid of experienced characters and cycle in noobs to blow through the cheaper earlier levels?
Have you done any vid on a game called something like "reverse collapse code name bakery"...? (I would like to know about that and especially if it's gonna be a pc version)
You have a great channel Splat and you have helped us to really decide and keep track on many great games! But this game is at mixed (65%) reviews at the moment on Steam, and still in Early Hellish Access. What's the deal with them ??? We all know that this game , if ever released, will die upn birth....
==>Kill Svetlana ==>Kill Clawmother Keisha (optional) ==>Kill Sandlord Jamal (optional) ==>Kill Gorthok the Betrayer (optional) ==>Kill Frostrunner Bella (optional) One of these things is not like the others... (I wonder what Svetlana did?)
This game was so much better before the update, when kids were babies and their were stockpiles and orders. This whole assign workers massive downtime just aint it
7:03, I get you love the refreshing variation of an old genre. But that's a 5\6 year old they say is a baby... If that's a 5 year old girl topless for no reason... Not cool and not a baby, automatic failure. The little things matter
A small village in the middle of nowhere and everyone is a different skin color. Lol. So dumb. Just let people pick their skin color for their game or colony. Should be able to hunt right away, at least for small game.
