From the moment of downloading Jamulus to the fun of playing music online, Mike Tietz offers a detailed step-by-step presentation about Jamulus, complete with screen shares of the how-to guide he co-authored with Tom Frenkel and Bruce Kinmonth, and a walkthrough of the Jamulus interface itself. Mike, Tom and Stephanie take questions from members of the chamber music community - from total Jamulus beginners to people who have already started playing on Jamulus' servers.
In the lead up to ACMP's first ever Virtual Worldwide Play-In on Saturday March 20 and Sunday March 21 (Bach's birthday), ACMP is doing everything it can to help as many chamber music lovers get themselves set up to play together online. Jamulus is not just a wonderful (and free!) way to play with other musicians with almost zero latency online - it is also a big worldwide music party. All of the sessions are open, and once you have your own Jamulus account, you can surf the servers and hear and meet musicians from all genres and from all over the world!
