What I found most amazing about this is that Jameel not only forgave him but that they went on to become friends who love each as brothers in the Lord. Only God can bring that kind of love and healing to a relationship.
@@justinbr4288 this is what all cops do. They will not loose ! Right or wrong they will do what it takes to put away someone if they believe that person should. The worst thing about this is the wrongful person got 10 years and the losing cheating drug dealing cop got 36 months. He should’ve got 36 yrs.
@@dukenukem8493 i hear u. Not here to argue. Think we both agree this story is messed up. Where we disagree is all cops r like that. I have friends that r cops. If they did stuff like that, we wouldn't be friends...
@@dukenukem8493 Greatest injustice in history was Jesus being crucified on the cross after living a sinless life. Everything that happens here is less than we deserve. That is an injustice, but it isn't going to fix anything to lose your soul over it.
This is everything the USA needs right now, we all fail at times we all fall short, true forgiveness is a life changer. May GOD richly bless these men as they share their story.
JAMEEL... you are the most gracious person I’ve ever seen. I’m a believer & thought I understood Gods Grace... but you, your family, friends..amazing!!!! I can not believe that you were able to sit across from this cat & listen to him be YOUR mentor??!!! Your mentor?!! What! You are Amazing Jameel.. Amazing!!!
What a heart wrenching story! Jameel ! What a beautiful soul. I feel so much warmth emanating from you. God bless your dear heart. As for the cop, I do pray his faith is authentic because he seemed a little too casual and detached from the pain he caused. But then who are we to judge these things? God sees the heart and is the ultimate judge of all.
Sometimes people adapt to that tone when talking about heavy stuff. They’re just trying to get the words out. If Jamele forgave and believes him then I do too, but you’re right, only God knows our hearts.
I needed this 🙏🏿 Thank You, Lord for this video! God please continue to bless these men and bless all of those who read this comment. Thank You for Your Love, Forgiveness, and Grace 🌟❤️🙌🏿
This isn’t your fight. That hit me hard.... when God spoke to Jamel. I needed to hear this message before I got out of bed this morning. Praise God ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😭😭😭😭😭I cant stop crying
Extremely Impactful and overwhelming how to learn the ability to surrender like this. It can only be done through God’s power through the Holy Spirit. 🙏✝️
I just shared this with a best friend that got out of prison 5-20-2021 that was falsely accused and did 10 yrs. God does send you guidance when you need it.
The hardest thing to do is love and forgive those who hurt us.. but it’s what God repeatedly tells us we must learn. It’s amazing how I can see a God in his life.. he showed Andrew mercy and grace. Gods love man.!
I have gone through and still have a similar situation in my life i don't believe the officer in my case would man up like that one did but its a powerful story awesome
Wonderful story of forgiveness through both people. If you are hurting and unable to forgive, this story proves yes you can. The greatest story of forgiveness is Jesus dying on the cross for you and I.
Captivating story. I can't believe the truth that people tell and what they do to others. Praying for this to be solid. I'm not sure I'd be able to trust like that.
Sadly what happened to this poor man is becoming a norm in our country. Sin is taking over the officers who are responsible for upholding the law. Shame on him.
Brandon Kruse are you still going to put a shame on a man who had already asked for forgiveness, who the victim had already forgiven himself and has long reconciled with the person he did wrong to? The victim himself knows forgiveness better than those people watching and not gone through it. The point of third story is forgiveness and not shaming people for their past mistakes.
Thanks for sharing and for those who commented that the ex cop needs to check himself remember he took a step to correct his wrong deeds and they were brought toward each other divinely and they both allowed God to work that now they are best friends and truly love each other so to God b d glory
"Lord, how often should I forgive someone who sins against me? Seven times?" "No, not seven times," Jesus replied, "but seventy times seven!" Jesus tells us to never stop forgiving those who have wronged us. Jameel's example of this is such amazing story, and Andrew's example of receiving forgiveness is equally important to the equation. Thanks for this awesome story!
Just listened to Andrew's guest episode on Truth & Justice with Bob Ruff. A lot of emotions in that episode. I'm an advocate in wrongful convictions & listening to Andrew admit that he did not think of Jameel as a human is very validating. For so many years I've said to myself the ONLY way these crooked cops, prosecutor's , and judges can do this to people is because they don't view them as living breathing humans. That's the only rationality I could come up with. It's really beautiful Jameel has for forgiven Andrew. Shows what a gem he truly is. Peace and freedom for all the innocent men and women locked up and thrown away in our prisons and get them home.
Jameel didn't carry the shame in his heart in the way that Andrew did. This allowed him to forgive Andrew more easily than Andrew could forgive himself.
