Moscow has also changed their approach to DST. But the watch doesn't take in change the differences between the dates some countries switch to and from DST/ST.
@@derludditus2758 I've realized that *all* world time bezels have a hard time of things, they'll all be incorrect in short time. Even if it's correct, DST exists in some countries, not in others, and the start/stop times vary. It's just not a complication you can trust outside of a smart watch perhaps.

@lookatwrist Worth noting the bezels are different between the one with the day and day/date. So the reissue is accurate in that respect as well. What is the width of the reissue's band? The original is 19mm. Curious if the case is basically the same.
@@jasonplugowsky3086 on the original, the date window was centered in the white "ring" within the dial. The reissue, the date window is pushed towards the left and is not fully inside the white ring. Google a pic of the original 72 and you'll see.

The French writing annoys me, e.g. Londres instead of London. The other details you criticised are very minor and don't bother me - you're nitpicking. This watch is NOT supposed to be a modern, all-singing, all dancing world timer watch!! It's a vintage watch recreation, for Pete's sake!!!
That's how I feel. It's a nice looking watch, and I'm glad they kept the original bezel, French included. I do like how the date window looks on the original though.
It's not a Retro Timex unless it's flawed and over priced.... SIGH 😩 There's a Vostok with a very similar design to this (not world time tho'). Also not buying Russian ATM though. #SlavaUkraini 💙💛
