PMC were used in Nigeria for 6 weeks prior to the 2015 elections. PMC can be employed to deal with external ideological threats of a sovereign country. As long as the PMC can operate within the ToR of the hosting nation.

I think the journalist is forcing his opinions too much. We simply want to get the back story from the very informed and eloquent interviewee and not to listen to a back and forth about failed states. But also there's biases in that the journalist ignores to comment on the U.S blackwater as a bandit group but strongly insists that Wagner is bandit and yet they do the very same thing.

Really false analysis. 1. Damiba called for a national reconciliation by inviting all past head of states. 2. He was not hiding at the french base. It was a propaganda to create the Anti-France sentiments to insight the population against the Damiba. 3. Damiba had part of the military support, but decided to step down so there will be no blood shed. 5. Damiba was not for the french nor Russia, but for the people of Burkina Faso.
