No one will ever match his scream!! Love this man, his voice, his music!! I wish i could thank him in person for the impact he had on my life!!! The 80's will always be the best years of my life!!
I wouldn't say no one will ever match his scream because there are the types of Ian Gillan, Kurt Kobain and many other singers that have a unique pleasant scream, but definitely Tom fits into that category of pleasant screams
Any band that got noticed in the mainstream in the 80s is immediately legendary. Cinderella was really underrated. They deserved so much more recognition.
I always thought he was a Steven Tyler knock off especially on Nobody's Fool but at least he didnt sound like every other band in the 80s like Poisuck or Motley Crue.
I think that that was an unfortunate side effect from his looks. I mean he did not sound a thing like Steven Tyler in my opinion anyway, and his voice was way better in my opinion. I could not stand Steven Tyler's high pitched singing. Tom could sing clean and then go into that screamy rasp that is just awesome. I think from my standpoint, as a teen in the 80's, I never realized what actually amazing musicians these guys are. As an adult I can appreciate it more, because I am not a teenager just crushing on the band and loving the music., it is way deeper now if that makes sense. That opening guitar he played for Nobody's Fool in Moscow really opened my eyes to what an amazing guitarist he is too. Man oh man, I wish I could go back and do it all again.@@StreetTruckinTitan
Humble is an understatement.. Seen him perform at a small bar in front of a small crowd Dec 2017 and he still put 110% into the entire show.. I am a huge fan now..
You can't have a conversation about 80s Rock and not include Tom Keifer. Always thought he was the coolest non arrogant rock star! He is so down to Earth.. A regular guy who's one of us! Blown away about how articulate and intelligent he is!
This is my 80's rock idol. The emotion that this man put in his music is amazing. I saw Faster Pussycat, L.A Guns, and The Tom Keifer band in Houston at Warehouse live on June 25, 2022. They put on one hell of a show. I will never forget getting to see my idol!
He is the real deal! We stayed outside the gate until 2:00 am after a Cinderella show in 2005. We saw Tom walk out, waved to him.He must have walked 50 yards out just to talk to us.He's really shy, nice dude.My brothers first concert was really special. Thanks Tom.
Tom, what goes around, comes around. You have given thousand's of people so much pleasure over the year's with your song's and dedication. That's why so many people still love you and your music today :)
Right on Tom Keifer for being such a good guy to put up with the interviewer. "Yep, yeah, right, yeah, yeah, heh, yup, right, right...." You get the picture.
Tom Keifer What a Class act!! Such a humble honest pure soul this dude has!! Gotta love him! So happy you are healthy and your voice is Back!! Your Fierce a Amazing Flawless Musician!! Love your style and Fabulous Music!! Keep Jammin my friend!! love and peace to you!! Ali Estero Florida 💕💕💕💕💕💕❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Tom's work today is better than ever. So thankful he is still creating. I always just loved the way he blends his own special style of blues and rock. It's just raw emotion. So good!
I've seen these guys 9 times in Concert. Would have been 10 but they canceled a show in KC which broke my heart. This band was such a part of my life and Heartbreak Station clearly was the album that meant so much to me. Thank you Tom for the ride.
Amazing story overcoming the voice issue. Great example for people to never quit. Keep trying keep fighting. I'm incredibly happy for him and his humility is awesome as well
Cool dude, he has so much respect for his fans and his inspirations. Some of the new artists should take note. Thanks for sharing your awesome music Tom !
Saw Cinderella in Palo Alto CA in 1995, years after their glory days were over. They killed it. They put on a stadium-sized show in a tiny club. Love this guy.
When you look at the long list of metal musicians and the ones who didn't have the public battles with alcohol and drugs, or outbursts of tempers, or cheating on their wives, and all the other perils of rock & roll, Tom is in the top of the list of guys who is a genuinely good guy and managed to not be one of the prima donna degenerates. He's a dude you would just love to sit down, chillout with, and listen to his music and his stories and you would feel like you were with a decent human being.
I LOVED Cinderella!! They were and still are one of my favorite bands ever! The 80's put out the best bands and music!! My own kids are even 80's music fans because that's what they were raised on! Love you Tom!!
Tom is a brilliant song writer. I've always felt "heartbreak station" was a underrated masterpiece. That song had number 1 written all over it and didn't make the top 20.
1st love the music ans sorry for your problem and got over them. Sorry to here about Jeff Lebar. My condolences to this family and friends and the band members.
Although I liked Cinderella back i the day, I always saw them as an eighties band. After seeing some of his new stuff and listening to this interview, I have an gained immense amount of respect for this guy. Let hope he never stops!
Tom is one of the greatest vocalist, guitar player, song writer, and "Front Man" on the planet! He doesn't get older, he gets better! What a soulful rock singer!
Christophεr a lot of people didn't realize how cool Tom really was. He was the epitome of a rock and roll star!! Down to earth and gets down hard when needed!!
I'm 20 years old. And I found out about Tom Keifer and Cinderella a month ago. And I realized that the music of Sindirella and Tom Keifer inspires me very much. This music causes me a lot of wonderful emotions. I am very grateful. Thanks
i liked them growing up in the 80s but now in my 40s i'm really listening to their entire albums. love this guy. i remember when i first saw him i didn't think it strange at all that a bunch of dudes were called "Cinderella" and were basically wearing dresses and had long locks. ahh the non-judgmental days of the 80s. i just knew i liked it and thought it was cool. so sad the "music" of today. was talking to my bud as a bunch of wives were playing some crappy 90s song from beyonce and i said i never listened to the radio after the early 90s...he said that song was from that era. i explained it wasn't a song but just a chick and a microphone. no band. no musicians. i hate that about all these decades after the 80s. i want my mtv dammit!
Nice to hear from Tom. I definitely never forget the greatest live in Moscow with lots of super bands 80s and Cinderella was the best among those super duper legends. Love from Korea.
У Тома особенное звучание голоса , голос создан для рок музыки, высокие ноты хрипота , не у всех солистов рок групп такой голос, завораживает, класс том куфер самый лучший
And a fabulous pianist to boot! Tom is really amazing. A HUGE contributor to the best of **THE BEST** of rock n roll! He looks healthy & amazing for a rocker.
Saw his tour in Nashville last summer 2022. Absolutely amazing! I have so much respect for him as a musician and person. He's always been one of those guys that's kept it real, he's never been one we hear about negatively in the press, and his music both Cinderella and Solo is just so amazing. I love how articulate and intelligent he appears. He's one of those guys that you would want to just sit down and hear stories from. Can't wait to see him again this year. If you haven't gotten to see him, do yourself a big favor and make the journey.
Talented guy. I saw Cinderella open for Bon Jovi in like 84 and they were good, but then saw them on the ling cold winter tour and was just blown away. That album, the long cold winter album was by far my favorite. Blues blues blues which is what I love. I also play guitar and I sat down and figured out all the songs on that album. It's just killer and Tom is a great musician!
Somebody save me I lost my job and they kicked me out of my tree! One the best bands to come out of the 80's I was 13 when they hit the scene it's 2021 I'm still lovin it.
