In Salt Lake City, UT, a suspect charged with public intoxication and trespassing tries to get out of his handcuffs which results in the use of the restraint chair. In Austin, TX, a suspect got into a fight at a club and claims he was only defending himself. In Tulsa, OK, a female suspect charged with obstruction and resisting arrest and is adamant she is going to sue the police department.

I hope those kids don’t end up being tossed around in the system for a decade. It really messes with you. I hope they have good advocates who really have their best needs in mind and that the “parents” are treated and things turn out ok. This hit hard. I was abandoned when I was 18 months old and tossed around until I was 10 when I was adopted.

I work for MODOC and we are getting away from the restraint chair as well. We have this device but it’s called the WRAP. It even comes with a nice little cart to wheel them from one area to another lol

Also our WRAP keeps them positioned at an obtuse angle. It’s not bad on your spine. I sat in it for almost 45 minutes during training and it wasn’t bad on my back. Just makes your legs numb and takes the fight out of you

I’m sorry but the bald cop creeps me out!! I wouldn’t trust him for anything!!! There are a few on this show that you can tell they should not be cops. I have looked up a few of them and some have been fired for beating inmates. Other then that I Love this show!! Wish they would start JAIL 2023!!

I think they should incorporate classes, starting in kindergarten all throughout elementary school, on emotional regulation. Most people don’t even know what they’re feeling and if those feelings are negative, they usually go straight into rage or retaliation. Mental and emotional health should be addressed first. And early on.

I am severely claustrophobic and just seeing that first guy is giving me actual anxiety. Nothing else ever gives me anxiety except for claustrophobia. I would have had a heart attack if I were him. Had to skip part of watching it. God Bless 🥰

Oh HELL NO....Yeah dude was being silly...but to be strapped down...COMPLETELY strapped down like Glenn was; handcuffs STLL behind his back, I'd end up having a heart attack, literally. Because my nerves cause me constant agony...multiple panic attacks daily...I would be constantly screaming. Hell, in the "Time of Masks", those alone drove me crazy. Claustrophobia and panic attacks constantly....that would be a TERRIBLE mix...😨

It is a refined version of a straight jacket, no-one was choked, beaten or harmed. If someone is in violent self harm/harm you mode, a designed physical restraint device and brief term isolation is the safest way to see that no injury comes to anyone involved and let heads detox or cool down. Do you have a better suggestion? The individual was DRUNK, not distressed. His existence was more at risk from himself. You are wrong.

You REALLY should consider training your officers to STOP saying "you're talking.. you're fine". Uh... well, remember George Floyd? He was "fine" until he wasn't 😢 just because they are speaking, doesn't mean they are "fine". We know the Bull💩 you deal with on a daily basis, but that mentality has to change. 👍💙
