Sir, with due respect i would like to suggest something...in that portion of the poem " he drew a youth of sixteen into the bedroom" the explanation is utterly dismaying..here kamala das has tried to tell that she herself was sixteen years old when she was married...the society at that point of time said tha that she has now grown up and she should be married...but the fact is she was not that much adult or mature to understand what is love..although she asked for "love" being very puzzled....then her husband drew her inside the bedroom and created a sensual and physical intimate relationship with her..... The "youth of sixteen" refers to kamala das herself.. jo explanation aapne diya hai us line ki wo bilkul galat hai....
And also.. Where she is mentioning about the languages.. Dream in one meant malayalam.. Which is her mother tongue.. She dreamt in malayalam not in english.
