J Hope is so versatile. He can dance, rap, sing, has a unique stage presence, needs no effort, naturally makes people aware of his presence. Just a delight. Having said this, all the members are extremely, extremely talented .

SUGA is the definition of true artist. He is honest, straightforward, intelligent and it shows in his raw and emotional lyrics. His whole existence revolves around music. As Jin said "our SUGA, he’s a friend who has an immense passion for music. To the point i wonder if he didn’t become a singer or songwriter/producer, what would he be? Everything surrounding him -hobbies, personal life - are all tuned around music. He’s someone that makes me think: “he looks amazing as a singer, as someone who makes songs.” SUGA started writing songs at 13 years old and when he had multiple part time jobs he was working at record studio and was giving MIDI lessons. He wrote 16 bars a day when he was a teenager and then one song a day. He says he writes music not because he thinks he should but because it's his best amusement, lyrics are just writing themselves in his head. He always brings his equipment on vacations and makes music everywhere, even on sets. When they've been asked what they would do without BTS other members answer different jobs, but SUGA is always consistent about his answer and says that he will be producer/songwriter even without BTS. He is an established producer, who works with other artists and wins awards; he is very deep lyricist, who writes about important problems in society, he is versatile composer. He can play piano by ear and credited for piano in many songs. He can read music sheets, he has perfect pitch and he can hear a musical note and identify or recreate it perfectly. He plays guitar and practiced his guitar 6 hours a day. He is learning drums as well. His studio is named Genius Lab and Media calls him "miracle writer", "worldwide music producer", "musical genius", "Daegu wordsmith", "Hand of midas", "king of the music industry",… + Yoongi (SUGA) has many interests and hobbies besides cooking. For example, he studies psychoanalysis and psychology, interested in architecture, electronics, economics, painting. He reads a lot and plays basketball, has red belt in taekwondo. But his biggest passion is of course music. He is inseparable with it. He even wrote a song "First love", which is about his love for music and piano

I hope you all here recommend exactly this video to everyone: it is important that people get to see the real BTS and the member's artistry, hard work, dedication and responsibilities. Do not recommend the old ones. You know why? It's because the older one tries to project a certain narrative/image of the members. It doesn't really show what they do as BTS members. Sure, funny videos are fun to watch, but I've seen too many recommending these funny or silly compilations to people who don't even know BTS but has just started reacting to them. They think "oh yeah they are funny guys" and that's it. They don't take them seriously because that's the narrative most of the silly videos feed to the viewers. I feel like especially Jin, Jimin and Jungkook in for ex the older video been shown in a completely different and subjective light: Jin is shown as the wwh who's known for his good looks and dad jokes, when in reality he is more than that. He's someone who's got a really nice voice and amazing solo songs (Moon is my favourite). But I've seen people aknowledge him as a singer and that makes me happy! Jimin in those videos is shown as someone who's insecure, which is a vulnerable part he wanted to share with us but it is not a part of his artistry. He's an amazing dancer, one of the main dancers, and has a unique, really high voice. Also good at martial arts! He is no doubt aknowledged for his skills in this fandom, which is once again, great. Jungkook, my one and only bias, has been constantly shown to be the baby of the group and then just mentioning that he's the center and main vocalist without aknowledging what he actually does as the main vocalist. Yes, he's the youngest, yes he did partially grow up with the other members: but he is still his own person. Jungkook mentioning his hyungs often isn't for you all to use to feed your own agenda of making him look "priviliged", when he is anything but that: if anything, he actually doesn't get even aknowledged as main vocalist because some of you see him as threat rather than part of BTS. Jungkook has carried BTS' vocals since debut despite being the youngest. He sings the guides, is credited on nearly all songs for chorus, does adlibs, harmonization, background vocals and does most of the vocal work on the songs. He knows all the lines, helps the members and steps in for them if needed. Jungkook is the pillar of their vocals. He is a powerful singer who is always on pitch, so much so that people (including vocal coaches) when hearing his RAW vocals when singing acapella, says it sounds like he has autotune in his voice. That's how amazing he is. Yet many within the fandom always say how there is no main vocalist and that he can't hit high notes. Jungkook can hit high notes, he hit an F5 in ON. And, excuse me, being a good singer is to know how to use your voice and always hit the notes right. In Film Out you could hear how Jungkook even hit the lowest of notes when singing. He doesn't dip down a little and then go up, he hits all the notes perfectly. (I suggest watching Justin Burke's reaction to Jungkook singing on vlive (when he had blue hair!)). He also has a very comforting and warm, graceful voice that is timeless and fits many genre/styles. I recommend watching Jungkook the main vocalist of BTS by Ida (same channel), so you can get to know his work and responsibilities better. This is the first intro video where Jungkook gets aknowledged for the work he does. When I first started watching BTS I saw those compilations and crack videos, there wasn't any good intro video, so I just had to learn about them on my own by watching live performances, reading m/v analysis and Run BTS etc. That's when I unlocked the hidden door - and actually came to love BTS a lot. I got hooked by Jungkook from the start (JK in police uniform in Dope👀) but it took time to understand and the work they do because there wasn't anyone making a good video like this that compiled everything well. So please, do not be so critical and try to be grateful for this video. Ida worked really hard on this and has done a wonderful job, and she does it for free too for us all 💜

BTS rapline is one of the best raplines in the industry. They are so talented and their lyricism is just amazing, reading the lyrics they write is like reading poetry, they are amazing, I love them so much
BTS - The best group I have started listening to. The song lyrics, music, performance everything is best (in my opinion). RM - The leader. It is not a joke to manage this responsible position of a leader of a great boyband group. He is excellent in doing this job. Rapper - He is one of the best rappers. Lyricist - The lyrics of their songs have given some solace to people of all ages. He is one of the great multitalented personality. JIN - The worldwide handsome. Great vocalist and great dancer. His angelic voice in spring day will soothe everyone who hears it for the first time and makes them to get addicted to the song. Epiphany - a great song and singing. SUGA (Min Yoongi) - I like the name Yoongiya when Jin calls him. Great great rapper. He is the best rapper ( my opinion). Lyricist - Again one of the best lyricist who has given beautiful songs to the world. Dancer - I like his dance in mirrored dance practice for their songs. He is kinda cute. JHOPE - Super duper dancer. Nobody can deny that they fell in love with his dance moves after watching his performances both on stage and dance practices. Rapper - Good rapper. Vocalist - He is a good vocalist. I am addicted to spring day because of Jhope's mesmerizing vocals in that song. Park JIMIN - cute angel. Unique voice. I am addicted to his "friends" song. Dance - great dancer. Most of the time his dance moves captures the audience because of which I tend to miss other's performance in the group. So I have to re-watch so many number of times to watch other's ( I will get distracted then also. Its a different story). V(Kim Taehyung) - My reason to become fan of BTS. An Angel who has versatile characteristics. Vocalist - His versatile voice made me listen to more number of BTS songs. His voice I don't know how to express it. It is soothing, energetic and sexy. His vocal range amazes me. Dance - his dance moves and the way he presents them on stage or during mirrors dance practise are awesome and captivating. Great stage performer. His acting skills are too good. Jeon JUNGOOK - The Golden Maknae. My second angel. Voice - His awesome voice mesmerize me everytime. His adlibs and harmonization during concerts are awesome. He has great angelic voice. His voice is the cause of my "Euphoria". Dance - His dance moves are awesome. He dances with ease which makes the audience to think that it is easy, but it is very difficult to perform. He is one of the perfectionist I have seen. Performer - He is a great performer and excellent all rounder. All 7 angels made me get addicted to their songs. I have never been interested to listen to international songs. But now I am only listening their songs. I pray GOD to give these angels a healthy and happy long life and give them more opportunities to produce lots and lots of good songs to soothe people. I should've found this earlier..this is so amazing. I've been searching for the ACCURATE introduction of BTS that is not just introducing their goofy and funny personality, instead, you introducing their talents and professionality to people that been wanting to learn more about BTS. This is what people should appreciate more instead of telling other people about BTS ARMY inside jokes and other stuff. I can say you did an amazing job here and I LOVE THIS SO MUCH💜💜💜 i have been an ARMY since 2013 and ever since that, my friends sometimes ask me is there a guide I can give to them for BTS and I couldn't give it because its hard to find a guide that discuss about their talents and professionality. My 3 nephews and two nieces who are ARMYs loved this vid so much that they showed the with much pride and enthusiam to their parents (my siblings) and to their grandparents (my parents). I am not an ARMY but as Dr. Jiyoung Lee had said "An Army behind the ARMY!" My siblings, my parents, and I are all suitably impressed by your video presentation. We are all deeply grateful that the teenagers in our family have such good role models in these 7 young men....and your video attests to that.

I really disliked the video that people always recommend (Who is BTS: the 7 members) as it lacked information about Jin and Jimin, seemed awfully biased, and also had lots of misinformation along with simply outdated info. All these guys are amazing and not just for their innate talents. There are many, many people in the world that can sing ir dance or are good looking. What the world has very few of and what BTS had in spades is determination and working hard at their craft. If you watched the playing of their concerts a few months ago you could see the reality of that.. in the beginning they were rough. You could see something was there and they certainly were not bad. But you could hear the voice cwaivering, they nodded alot of built in dance breaks, stuff like that. Look at the 2019 concerts and it is like night and day. It is immediately obvious to anyone watching how damn hard they have worked at every, single point over their craft from voice lessons to style to dancing to even increasing their stamina. They absolutely deserve every good thing that comes their way. And no, I'm not some 17 year old with a boy band crush. I am a 50 year old married woman with a daughter the same age as JK. I listen to all kinds of music, mainly heavy rock. I played drums in school and danced. I will admit, having had to live through my own "boy band" crush (spoiler: it was in junior high and it was Duran Duran lol) and also having to be in my 20s when Backstreet Boys and N'Sync were popular I kinda just blew BTS off as a Korean copy. My daughter has been a fan of theirs for as long as I can remember. I thought it would be a phase. Guess I got schooled on that. After seeing how big they were getting zi decided to check out what all the hubbub was about, probably thinking i would scoff at it all. I began a deep dive down the BTS rabbit hole from which I've never gotten out and long stopped caring to do so. I still love my rock too, because you can like different things but BTS is something special and never in my life have i been so happy to have been wrong about something. 💜💜💜

I totally get it. I too went down the rabbit hole. My husband and some friends think it’s a phase. It’s not. Something has awoken in me that I had no idea was there. It’s how the music makes me feel and they are talented, kind, hard working, empathetic, funny, generous young men. I found this to be a concise introduction. As others have mentioned, this does not contain caricatures or unnecessary polluted commentary. I am glad there was mention of each member's songwriting, producing, etc not to mention their versatility within the group. Also, kudos for giving the fyi about their shows.
