Hi, I hope you enjoyed that video. Subscribe to my channel if you’d like to see what I get up to at Cambridge.
If you’d like to find out more about early modern books then check out these websites!
The V&A Collections (collections.vam.ac.uk/search/...
) These collections are great to look through! I’ve linked a search for early modern book bindings like the one I showed in my video.
British Library (www.bl.uk/manuscripts/
) The British Library has an amazing collection of digitised manuscripts to look through! I could do this for days…
Early English Books Online (eebo.chadwyck.com/search
) this is what I use to do all of my early modern reading. You can experience texts as they were originally printed. Very exciting!
And here’s a nerdy article on punctuation (www.theparisreview.org/blog/2...
)
If you’re a literature student and looking for a more academic approach I can recommend Juliet Fleming’s book on graffiti!
