I regret not paying attention in high school. Thank you Mr.J for being the best math teacher I've had. Couple of years later and I need this math for my career as an Electrician. I hated math but now I really enjoy it. It feels so good when you finish a problem. For you younger people take math seriously. We need it for everything. Your older self will thank you later on. Don't be like me trying to learn everything when it's late

When I was in the 8th grade I entered a math and science competition where I explained this theorem. Throughout my life the 3-4-5 right triangle often crossed my mind and now I use it to explain how Egyptians could have determined true north. In the 8th grade I probably knew about the other right triangles that had three sides with whole numbers, but your explanation has triggered an interest in determining other right triangles with all whole number sides.

I've tried watching other math videos and almost all other RU-vid math teachers explain it too fast and assuming the audience knows extra terms and rules without explaining them. It confuses me so much like it did back in school. Your videos I have understood each one and progressed my studies because of them, so thank you SO much Mr. J!!

I only watched halfway through to know that when you don't have the hypertenus, you do a^2+b^2+c^2 but when you done have a leg you can do c^2 - b^2 = a^2 and you use square root to de-square the numbers
