Really helpful video! VCDS is always a bit of a risk to play around with, so it's worth highlighting the risks as well as the benefits. The proper VAG cable is crazy expensive to buy.

Yes, fooling around too much without proper adaptation or long coding understanding is not recommended. Also when doing adapatations or coding, best to take a screen shot or admap of the control module before changing anything. I have got P160900 error code which was triggered by a crash. It had made the steering hard. Will clearing the code resolve the issue?

Nope. The steering rack needs replacement for that fix.
