Uniek is definitely the boss of the herd. She walked out there and ignored everyone and then they followed her. RS the little cutie stays right next to mommy and seems so proud he is with the boss too.
Funny, its like the parting of the waters when Uniek enters the pasture. She just walks on with such a presence and the others step aside and follow. RS is so calm, he must feel safe and secure.
Uniek must defend her babies and subordinates from all dangers! Even the imaginary ones. Intruders will be snorted at. Survivors will be snorted at again! Handsome and strong little foals you have there.
I love that you do not add music to these videos. I truly enjoy the natural sounds of the stable, the meadow, and your quiet voice narrating. A wonderful way to begin or end my day. Thank you!

Rising Star is getting tall and developing muscle and losing his fluffy baby beard. He does still have a baby tail! He’s going to be a majestic, exquisite horse.
Queen Uniek struck quite a regal pose in the pasture as she gazed imperiously at Waloubet. Her casual dismissal as she turned away was hilarious.😂 What a wonderful personality she has!
I adore that Uniek pays sharp attention to the strange gray horse as her chestnut son moves around her. Of course to her Rising Star is perfect because she is an outstanding mom and that makes his color/coat perfect in her eyes. Anyway, I just adore this one! Thank you.
These videos of Uniek and her baby RS are still so special! She was on high alert this day because of the grey horse! Truly a special horse that you have to enjoy and find comfort in while you recover.
I love how little Rising Star sticks right by MOM on the way out and once inside the pasture. He's not concerned with the invader in the meadow but MOM IS. SO cute to watch. Uniek seems like the leader of that herd. The other mom's follow her lead. This is so fun to watch. I'm SO in love with how Uniek took right to her new little colt Rising Star and gave him a mommy. Love it.
To say Uniek is protective of Rising Star would be an understatement. I don't think she could move farther away from Waloubet and still be in the meadow.😊
@@Lionloverky he already lost a mother. He doesn't want to lose another one. And Uniek already lost a baby and she doesn't want to lose another one. Win-win for both to have each other.
Uniek is such the leader of this group. Everyone follows her lead. She was so definite about joining her herd. You could just hear her saying, “let me go”!!! Cute little RS is just along for the ride with his majestic mother. 💜
Reina reminds me of Sylke Faya the way she zooms around her mother. Sanne is going to be gorgeous one day. But little Rising Star captured my heart! He is too cute for words! It tickles me how he checks to see the snack bar is still there! What a lovely day for all of them to be out with her Majesty.
I just LOVE ❤️ watching the “Little Red Speck” in the distance, running and playing amongst the Friesian herd! Sjors is like a future version of Rising Star looking over him and remembering his wonderful time living at the farm with his mom Uniek.
Wow! The first video of yours I watched was the birth of Star, and hoping Uniek would accept the new foal. When that lady brought RS in all I could feel was depressed. He just looked so malnourished! He looks so much better now. He’s happy and healthy!
Me too! Same enter-point; same feeling. So wonderful they could each so perfectly fill the other’s need. (So thankful it worked out that way 😬-it would have been horrible to watch if the orphan was rejected. Thank God the bond happened! 🙏🏼❤️)

Reintje stopped & thought, "what the heck is THAT??" "Oh well ... no bother..." The rest of the herd did not know what to think of that weird colored horse either!! So they waited for their Queen to show them it was okay to go to the pasture. That is so cute how after the herd waited for Uniek, they all watched curiously together by the white as horse & rider came close for "herd inspection". It look like poor Sanne did not know what to think about Reina the way she kept running back and forth! RS was sure enjoying the meadow with all the running & bucking .... so adorable!!! RS walked out so proud and confident.....I love watching uniek in everything she does.....uniek is just amazing...I think uniek likes to make decisions by committee with yvonne .....she is the once in a millennium friesian...I love watching the friesians being out in the pasture on a beautiful June day.....thank you yvonne for these great videos everyday

The Queen says, no Yvonne...NOW!!! I love watching the horses and even though I love the black horses, Sjors and Walo are gorgeous. I have no trouble telling them apart (ha ha).

Uniek and Rising Star are so cute together. It's so heartwarming how protective Uniek is of her little one, and seems to put herself between RS and the other horses. All lovely foals and mares too and great video ♥️

I was thinking the very same thought. Right now I'm tired of 91°heat, 100% humidity in NC, USA. Day in, day out in the southern US. Thank goodness for air conditioning!
Uniek says, "My herd cannot be out in the meadow without me!!" Then: "Who is that? Is my herd in danger?" She is not just the Queen, she is the Boss! Do not mess with Uniek! I love that still of her with RS at the end. Is there a way to dismiss the little windows that pop up over it? I'd love to sit with that photo for a while. So sweet, and the lighting is very special.
I just found your channel a few days ago, and the first video I saw was the one of Queen Uniek meeting Rising Star for the first time. My heart absolutely broke and melted for them both. I do not have horses, but some cousins I'm close with do, so I grew up around them, learning how to care for and ride them. Horses are truly amazing creatures, and I believe they do feel emotions. It was clear that Uniek was heartbroken over losing her foal, and Rising Star was lost without his momma. Now they have each other, and I love watching the two of them together. He is definitely hers now, and he knew she's his momma, and that she loves him.
Hi everyone... in fact I have never had contact with these wonderful animals, but I have always loved horses! Now that I follow your story I marvel at their expressions and your explanations. I always believed that horses could be like in the movies, but now I see it's not like that! They are very sensitive, have strong personalities and it is really necessary to know how to deal with them... the foals look like children playing under the eyes of their mothers .. :) I love what I see...I love the way Yvonne talks to the horses...and I love the way they react to her and the other girls...thanks for the good you do me :)
I love that you 'read' your horses so well and listen to them. I missed this when I was riding horses when I was young. People didn't really care about what the horse wanted. A lot of the horses were bored and were acting out because of that and they would get yelled at and whipped. I know how to read dogs (have followed a course in dog behaviour) but would love to learn the same about horses. I must say learning how to read any type of animal will help you to observe other types of animals better aswell. It's so frustrating though to see people misread and misinterpret animals so often. I think everyone who owns an animal should at least research the general behaviour of that animal and then the specific characteristics of the breed aswell in order to take really good care of the animal's needs.

I love Uniek, she makes her wishes known. She was sure anxious to get outside with her boy. What a beautiful picture with them together. Waloubet is a gorgeous horse too! Such a beautiful place.
It is really amazing to see RS stay so “ glued” to Mamma Uniek’s side leaving the stable….stop,go,stop,go as Uniek checks out the strange gray in HER meadow! RS really sensed Uniek’s vibrations all the way out to the far pasture and stayed glued ALL THE WAY….LOL❣️👏🏻👏🏻
