Potassium soap is great at getting rid of aphids and fertilizes your plants too! It's the only thing keeping my couve plants safe from the voracious little monsters.
@@TheDesertDaffodil I haven't tried it on its own, so I can't really say, but I've used potassium soap that came mixed with it and I haven't noticed any harmful effect on my plants, at least. I haven't noticed increased efficacy over just plain potassium soap, either.
Using native predators to deal with pest is "unethical" then you are going to hate how certain plants have developed toxins, or have pheromones to attract the predator. Also worrying about that while eating a slaughtered animal.....
Getting wild ladybugs grown to counteract pests may introduce new diseases to native species vs Getting a sandwich because I’m hungry and supporting a local business while I’m at it. Let’s be for real.
It's probably unethical because the ladybugs you buy aren't native. And because they usually sell the Asian ladybug that not only eat more aphids than native ones, but also eat native aphid babies, they harm the environment if they aren't contained properly when used as a pest control.
