I have a chronic knot in my left shoulder blade from holding it up for too long. Worse still, I have to change my lifestyle to stop in order for it to get better, but its so ingrained and something I never used to consider that I'm just kind of putting up with the pain, which I'm sure doesn't end with me having full mobility...
Hold it like an old person, one hand holds the phone, the other hand you use your index finger to navigate the phone. Ever since doing that I’ve been pain free
I don't know why people don't hold their phone like that. That's not an old person thing. That's a ridiculous statement. Nobody should be holding their phone with one hand because that's how you put strain in the tendons
@@Nana-1908Generally older people do hold it that way more commonly. If I had to guess it's because they don't have as many priorities so they'll use their pointer finger to type.
So thicker phone is good for your hands and it gives more room for bigger battery but companies just loves to follow stupid trend of thin fragile phones 🤷♂️
I'd rather have a lighter phone and less thick. Have you tried the iPhone 13 pro max. That shit is like a brick. That too me makes it harder to hold a phone. Your arm and hand will get fatigued much faster. I don't think this concept outlined in this video is right
2 years late but I hope it’s understood this is an international website. An instructional video in English on how to hold a phone is wild to expect millions of views. How many versions of an artists songs float around vs this same video 😂
I made a habit of holding my phone and or tablet at eye level from another ergonomic article, it apparently reduces neck stress. It does help! I'll apply the tips in this video too. Thx CN!
I didnt do this. So please allow me to add a PSA to anyone reading your comment by saying: HOLD IT AT EYE LEVEL FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. And if you aren't going to do that, make sure you get married and keep that marriage happy and healthy, because youre going to need a lot of back rubs. All my shoulder and neck muscles are tight and sore almost all the time. And the worst parts are right in the centre of my back, where I can't reach them. I cannot properly express how infuriating it is to be nagged by muscular pain and tightness all day and night, and wanting to massage it yourself but just being unable to because of the angle. And no way you stretch can quite get to the spots that hurt the most, either. It just becomes like this little pet that lives near your spine and feeds on your tears.
I wish for smartphones with smooth shiny slippery housings to be banned. Not only does such a design make it more likely to break a screen, but it's really dangerous if your device slips out of your hand at height. For instance, while lying on your back with the device above your face if very tired and nodding off. Ouch. ...they all should be made with rubberized surfaces!
Same for me on controller my pinky is not on good position and when i sleep and wake up trying to move my finger is just goes _/¯ and ¯\_ is not moving slowly like other fingers idk how do i fix it and it hurts me today bruh
Merci pour cette vidéo. Je viens de remarquer que mon petit doigt se noircit sur à l'endroit où se pose mon phone. Il a dû supporter un poid supérieur au sien et une forte pression.
Do this ---> use two phones 1- one like an old nokia or BlackBerry withthe only call feature..no cam 2. Smartphone - do this for 2 mnths..then if u find that there is nothing good with smartphone, donate it
He is holding the phone wrong. The pinky should NOT be supporting the weight of the phone, especially when the phones get heavier - this causes smartphone pinky, which can develop into arthritis.
I’m getting pain when holding my iPhone 12 pro because of the weight switched to iPhone 12 mini and this phone is causing me pain also. I don’t know what is up with me
Absolute rubbish. I never had a problem with my thin iphone xs. I’ve just upgraded to the thicker and bigger 14 and my hands and thumbs are in constant pain.
How about his neck?!! He should bring up his phone, so he is not in any way, putting pressure on his neck!!! After all our heads wight a lot!!!! That's why I refuse to use smartphones!!!
