An 'Out Out' Drive in a Triumph Stag! 

That is one elegant and good looking car. Came up a treat after that clean. Amazing the number of Stags still in good shape and running considering so few thousands made. Some now over half a century old! Good to know there are so many in caring able hands and ownership. Most Summer weekends up on the Cotswold sees a few nice Stags about. Where i used to get the family's cars Mot-d there was a dark grey stag in a corner of the industrial unit which never moved for years. I asked if it could be for sale as a project. It will be restored ...according to the owner .. one day To my old ears there is something about the noise made by a V8, not just the exhaust but the induction sound as well. The exhaust and induction sound mix when the Mustang V8 in my old MG ZT comes on song is a delight to the old ears. I always lower both front windows when under long Motorway bridges or tunnels, select second gear and give it some beans ... Never tire of that glorious sound mix in long tunnels. Some of us will never really grow up. Good eh

You should have told that guy who stopped you that the stags may have had it’s problems but it’s still around unlike more recent cars👌👌love that V8 sound it’s like no other V8 except for the offbeat American cars👌👌

Really enjoyed this Tony! The Stag’s looking gorgeous, how crazy to see the British Airways fleet parked at Bournemouth. Nice to see the Retro livery 747 make a cameo too. Hope you’re all well chaps!

Lovely old thing, and that red (which one is it?) is definately one of the colours that suit the Stag. I really do think that radios are superfluous in these things, I'd be quite content to listen to that gorgeous V8 for any journey. Stay safe, thanks for the vid!

Looking lovely, hopefully it can all get better now, and I'm sure you be able to rectify the leaks. I have Ford Streetka and a Ford Sportka, the sportka has a leak in the back hatch which water drips or runs out of the lock catch when it opens upwards. I have sealed every area where water can get in, I even took the spoiler off the top of the back hatch door and sealed between that and the door, but no luck. But one day I hope to get there. Will all the best it these troubled times, it's nice to get out

You're suffering my problem...hardtopitis. I have nowhere to store mine at the moment, could really do with taking it off! By the way, the car isn't leaking. What you're observing is the 1970's optional interior automatic wash feature.
