+LindhausItaly Michele - Thank you so much! That is great praise coming from the Boss himself - you are vary gracious to send me such an accolade. We think the Lindhaus uprights we featured in the video are terrific - keep up the good work! Thanks again.
I work for Brady's Inc in Idaho Falls Id and im the service manager for our store. I %100 agree with you Kieth. Lindhaus is the hightest quaility and most engineered vac out there. Sebo or Windsor is great as well but Lindhaus take the cake for sure!! Nice video :)
Hey awesome video! I'm proud to say that Lindhaus for over 10 years is the only vacuum company that I swear by for it's quality and performance! Keep up with making more Lindhaus videos! I'm hoping to get some other popular vacuum review channels to check these out because these should get the attention they deserve!
I got a Lindhaus DP-5 from a thrift shop and I said goodbye to bagless vacuums. Bagged is better. I finally have a real vacuum. I will take good care of my Lindhaus.
Keith, does the high speed brush and motor on this vacuum help you clean better, faster or both? How does the Lindhaus stack up against the Sebo, Miele and Simplicity’s of the world? I see you sell them all. Thanks in advance for your reply.
Hi - the answer is "both". Anything that advances efficiency makes the job go easier and faster. As far as relating the vacuum manufacturers that you list - we generally regard Lindhaus, Miele & Sebo as being "cousins" - i.e., the essential quality is pretty much the same. I would put Simplicity a bit behind those just named; but, they make good product.
Hi -- I'm not entirely sure what you mean by saying "My belt will not spin" and then saying "The belt seems good and turns by hand". You don't mention a model and, while you don't mention the manufacturer, I suppose you have a Lindhaus. I'm surmising that your issue is that the revolving brush is not revolving. Be aware that some Lindhaus uprights have a 3-position switch that enables the revolving brush assembly to be switched off while allowing the main vacuum motor to continue to operate. Also, while rare, the gear on the motor spindle can be worn which would prevent the belt from being activated. Without more information than you've given, its difficult to suggest anything further. Today is 12/31/22 and the vacuum tech has left for the holiday weekend. If you wish you can call us at 908-232-5723 when we re-open on Tuesday and ask for Stan.
@@polocash11 If, as you say, the indicator lights on the power nozzle are lit; then, the motor head is getting electricity. The next step would be to determine if you can hear if the power nozzle motor is "on". If you don't hear that motor operating; then, I would surmise that either there is an issue with the motor, an issue with the electronic board that controls the motor -- or, the 3-position switch up on the main body of the vacuum is not in the correct position to allow the power nozzle motor to operate.
Hi -- this would be the suggested Lindhaus canister model for a mix of hard floor and carpet: etpetersen.com/product/lindhaus-aria-canister-vacuum-platinum-wpb12-power-nozzle/
Sure - I know who Cliff is and his background with Brady's although I've never spoken with him - Al owns Lindhaus USA and is a good friend. Thanks for your comments!
Hi -- I don't see you in our database; so, I don't know what unit you have. First, presuming you've paid your electric bill, check the particular electrical receptical that you're using (or, try other receptacles). If the machine still doesn't operate, locate a Lindhaus Dealer near you for repair (if you don't have one, find a reputable local vacuum repair center). Of course, you can always send the unit to us if you have no one at all local to you.
@@mikebordeaux8218 Hi Mike -- My bad -- I just took a look at the new Tennant upright vacuums -- they are NOT made by Lindhaus. However, both Lindhaus and Sebo private label for the industry (Sebo makes Windsor, for example). Many if not most vacuums are made in China today :-( but Sebo is German and Lindhaus is Italian. Tacony has been buying up companies for at least a decade -- we started dealing with Tacony 40+ years ago when they were a small firm in Carlstadt, NJ.
Hi Chris -- sorry to hear that you are less than 100% satisfied with your Lindhaus upright -- the norm is generally complete satisfaction. Hard to recognize what you mean by "have had trouble with suction". Typically that statement suggests a partial or full clog somewhere in the nozzle, wand or hose. The design of the Lindhaus upright is such that a clog can be readily cleared in a few minutes with no disassembly, per se -- frequently a piece of coat hanger can be used to clear out whatever is clogging the passageway. In such instances, make sure the clog is fully removed -- i.e., a remaining toothpick, etc. will simply cause the passageway to re-clog. I hope this helps.
@@keithpetersen8114 dear keith, looked on internet to find video of how to maintain the lindhaus . I was unaware that you could separate the head (I do not have a a user guide ) however I have cleared a major blockage and I retract my previous comment and apologise for my former inaccuracy.
