Just found your channel, I’ve been pouring over jelly roll quilt tutorials & there was your video for a simple 9 patch/Irish chain. I lost my mother 2 days before Thanksgiving, this year, on the 22nd, her funeral was a week ago today. I need a quilt top to work on that doesn’t require a lot of thinking and this one is it!! Thank you for your clear and concise tutorial. Now to choose which jelly roll to open & do some mindless sewing.. Hope your day is a blessed one. Oh, btw, I’ve subscribed to your channel.😊

The grief and the ache comes in waves, as I’m sure you understand what I mean by that. Mom loved all the quilts I’ve made, her favorite though was a simple 9 patch, another reason I was drawn to your quilt, not to mention the beautiful colors you chose.
