the 3ds 7-2 remake was so cool it stayed true to the original. although this video shows the difference in skill it took me so long to beat it and i got to the last world and deleted my save and im stuck at world 9 forever now

Don't worry Dave I didn't have one at the time either. I don't think I got my first and only one (possibly one with a bad disc drive) until I was in middle school and it was a "pre-loved" one. Also funny thing about the PS2, I got it after I got a PS3. All 3 of them are secondhand. I got that initial one to play Dance Dance Revolution, but buying games kind of snowballed on me so I wound up getting a small collection. N64/GameCube crew here.

23:20 if you get this level in endless, its basicly what i like to call & might even be called a hard lock cuz i consider a softlock as having to start over but after restarting if you have no checkpoint & dying by a timer if you do, but what i consider as a hardlock in smm2 is having a checkpoint but if what you need is earlyer on but you can't get it anymore then thats what i consider a hardlock, different example, in an undertale AU if the opponent uses a move that is triggered in a certain but it truly never ends then thats a softlock (spoiler: 1 of sans his turns in undertale is at the end doing nothing & keeping his turn, but you can move to the fight button when he's asleep so that won't be a softlock) but in (another spoiler:) dell's case in overtime when you spare him you can save at his half of the last corridor, but he will dunk you & if you saved between the fight & the dunk, then you basicly lose all of your progress & have to start over from 0 (as far as i know its the only garbage in the game, but (only in the first time if you don't know this already) its somewhat major garbage) then thats what i consider as a hard lock

I played the 3ds version quite a bit since when I was out and about I could formulate levels on it and then copy them to the Wii U version and the level you didn’t know if it was or not from the 3ds version, it was. I remember it cause it was somewhat cheap of a challenge and took me a bit

i found an uncleared level the other day where it was set up to be unwinnable except through the dev exit which took me a bit to find, i examined everything i could at the point right by the flag and they had set up so many invisible blocks it was physically impossible to win without the dev exit

I'm still waiting for more Mario maker 1 uncleared levels

I used to own the 3DS Mario maker and I had found some stages that I could download and I’m pretty sure they were made by creators? Maybe I’m mistaken

You have to be able to clear the level from each checkpoint. Therefore there must be a dev exit or key for if you don't have a key
