Greg, this is one of my most enjoyable videos that I have watched on your channel. It brings back childhood memories, back on the 60's, of my early fishing ventures using a bamboo pole with braided line and a stick bobber red worms and catching bluegill, perch and crappie around boat docks! That will always be something I'll never forget and can relate to same feelings you had growing up fishing!! Thanks Greg for sharing your childhood fishing adventures, so cool!! By the way, go back to your childhood dew, LOL!!!

two minutes in and I'm misty-eyed! Love the memories, great newspaper clip, great vibes. Most of us who grew up fishing with grandparents, parents and siblings long for those reflective times when we're bathed in the warmth of such memories. You're fortunate to be able to go back where it started, thanks for cherishing and sharing that!
I think Greg is secretly being paid by the Finger Lakes tourism board. These videos are just pure fun on a stick. We're going to hate seeing this trip end probably almost as much as you did.
So cool to fish the lakes that have engrained so many childhood memories. I was lucky to have Clear Lake as my main one. Catching any where from 10-15b catfish and 5lb bass or even those giant crappie when your 8,9,10 yrs old. Nothing like it. 🎣
I'm new to bass fishing, and thanks to Greg, I've been able to land some nice ones. So keep up the devotion and these awesome videos. You have taught me and lots of new generations a lot.

Greg thank you for sharing a wonderful memory of taking us along a great fishing spots! These lakes you’re sharing in New York no pressure just great fishing has been a spiritual awakening for me! I grew up close minded that I would never wanted to visit New York due to overcrowded city living, but Greg you brought a great perspective of the greatness of New York these lakes have now justified putting these lakes on my bucket list and I want to go. I’m not a big city guy I love the mountains AB’s enjoy my peace there but if you I was to spend the time meeting someone like you you will have made my visit priceless! Wow what a great day Greg,yeah my father took me cat fishin for the first time when I was 5 and I will never forget it. I was hooked on fishing. I didn't catch my first bass till I was 10 or 11 but man that was the best day. Thanks for taking us along bro.

For the longest time, I have commented/recommended using a paddle tail trailer for your buzz bait instead of a frog style trailer. This is my go-to bait for the majority of my morning and late evening catches. I use the Zoom Swimming Super Fluke Jr. at Walmart since they're inexpensive and come in a pack of 10.
By far my favorite fishing channel. Really enjoy when you and the boys get together for tournaments. You have a great group of fishing friends. I live in Central New York but have never fished the Finger Lakes. I'll have to give them a try. Thanks Greg.

Nothing better than a buzzbait bite...This was a good video! You always pick really nice looking areas to fish, and it makes me a bit jealous! lol...all the water I have to fish is ugly and usually really dirty...
Think I've been out there once, for a Fuzzy Guppies Charity Tournament about 4 years ago. Neat place, of course that was late April, it was freezing, and the locks weren't operating.
A tip I learned from Hank Parker was if you miss a bass on 1 top water have a different top water tied already tied on and immediately throw that different bait back to it. Example a popper or stick bait.
😂I don't care about the haircut, but taking 3 casts on the waking DD gill when they are eating topwater and switching to the bed fishing rig is a real hard call to make. Sure would like to see how much fun it'd be to catch a few on the big bait. I guess you can't have it all though. Nice video as usual GB
I experienced that the other day, too! Was throwing a frog all morning catching donks. Sun came in hot, and the bite turned off, so I switched to a wacky and couldn't get a bite. Switched back to the frog and finished up with a few more fish. Couldn't complain, lol
