I love hearing your story. I went through something similar when we bought our home 30 years ago. We had our ducks lined up and in the end they all went different directions but we ended up in the perfect house and location for us. I too am a firm believer that all things work out the way they were meant to be. So happy for you!!😊😊❤❤

Thanks Patti!! So true... it's the stopping and waiting and listening that I struggle with. I'm always working so hard to organise and plan and sort and make everything perfect. This has been another reminder to let God sort the things out for me, he does a much better job of it than I do 🙈 🙈 🙈

My husband & I actually had a similar experience. I understood, after all settled, that it was God's plan to put us in the place we belonged. I am in my 70's & have learned that when seemingly terrible things happen, almost always, it proves to be for the best when it all plays out. I am so very heppy for you!!!

For sure... I needed this reminder. I'm a huge planner and organiser and I get stressed when things don't go perfectly. I am learning to let go a bit... God does a much better job of organising my life than I ever could. 🦆🦆🦆

@CreatedByGwen As a trauma survivor, I know what you mean. The sweet spot is not to throw out the baby with the bathwater. We strike the right balance when we throw out the bathwater and nurture the baby! Your organizational skills are God-Given (the baby). Resisting our tendency to go overboard with it is the bathwater! You're all good, my friend. Nobody can say it wasn't GOD himself who orchestrated this miracle! Saved you guys a lot of money; am I right? God saw you coming before you got there. He'd already prepared that gift/blessing for you years ago!

omgoodness! your vid had me so worried!!! 10 yrs ago when we were house hunting, it was a buyers market, every house we put an offer on, we got outbid by 5k-10k!!!! it was a very emotional rollercoaster, and I ended up doing the same thing, I tried not getting my hopes up. We did end up finding the perfect house for us at that time, and again, like you said, God does have a plan, unfortunately sometimes he keeps us in the dark and surprises us. Congrats on your perfect home!!!! So happy for you!!!!

It's so stressful.... here right now is the same, not many houses on the market and lots of buyers for them and if you aren't willing to settle right away, you miss out. I genuinely thought we would be 'stuck' and would have to compromise on a bunch of things to fit within our budget. Amazing how it all worked out, we are so so very thankful for it all.

That is spooky! We moved 3 years ago we moved to Holcombe Somerset. The pictures of the house did not do it justice and we blanked it for months. We had a MIL in tow as well all living in a small rental. So finally we gave in and booked an appointment. When we walked through the flow of the house was just right. The kitchen sold it! ❤

Congratulations! I am so happy for you. God's amazing plans are so much better then our own. When I had to move at the end of 2022, He dropped the sweetest little house in my lap. Everything came together so quickly and perfectly that even my landlady and others mentioned how everything thing was just falling into place. But I knew it was God's divine hand. I’ve got goosebumps! I can’t believe you’ve got your home!!! Isn’t life so unbelievable sometimes that we go round and round only to be brought right back to the very beginning of a journey that took an unexpected turn. While we think everything has blown up, something far better is just around the corner. I’ve had these beautiful gifts happen to me throughout my life too.
