The thing is I know lying about being pregnant is extremely bad and a horrible thing to do but verity isn't spiteful or mean. She didnt set out to hurt sami she didnt wake up with the evil intentions to lie to him and hurt him. Diane threw her under a bus to cover her own back. She put verity in an impossible position. Diane is also family to verity and when you love your family you will do anything for them. You can tell its destroyed verity having to carry this lie on and she was about to tell sami everything until his cousin appeared and dropped the bombshell ( I'm still trying to workout how he over heard her and Diane because he had left the cafe before they both started talking about it...) I do generally think sami should forgive her you don't just fall outta love with someone who you have been chasing for months over something that wasn't your fault if anyone should be apologising it should be Diane! She has alot to explain

I have been watching beloved “HOLLYOAKS” for years, but-apparently-I must have “missed” a couple of episodes in which the character of “Sami” died, ascended to Heaven, then returned to the village as a living “saint”. Considering all of his past shenanigans, he is ill suited toward holding any degree of judgmental-“candle” to Verity. Although, the immediate benefit of this story-line, is that talented actors, Rishi Nair “Sami” and Eva O’Hara “Verity”, and by connecting storyline, Harvey Virdi “Misbah” have scenes to play. And, within this pandemic-stricken economy, this is-indeed--comforting news.

What in the world? I mean I know Verity did wrong by not telling him the truth from day 1, but break up for good as this is not something that can be resolved. This is just so dumb seriously. I get if it’s something like what’s Mandy’s doing (keeping the truth from Darren and Nancy about Ella killing Jordan)...you can’t come back from that. But this? I mean surely it can take some time to get over but not to the extent of breaking it off specially after fighting for Verity’s love so hard....

Verity will take the job in New York, Sami will realise how much he loves her and can't live without her. Then chase her all over the village to catch her taxi just as it starts to drive away. And they all lived happily ever after...

Diane this is your fault I really wanted sami and variety to get pass this... Next time be woman enough to clean up your own mess.

I still don’t understand why she didn’t just tell Sami the truth in the beginning , what was the big deal to be open . She didn’t do it out of manipulation like something her father would do so the motive behind the lie was not necessarily bad but she disregarded the feelings of the man she loved ☹️.
