You failed to mention the potato head kids cartoon that ran in the 1980s beside the g1 my little pony show. Mr amd mrs potato head showed up in that cartoon as regular supporting cast. And yes there were villians in that cartoon, a gang of bullies led by a spud valled Grease.

The comment about wanting a Mrs Potato Head was a Toy Story reference, not an actual complaint.
