@@johnnyraven8178 I'm lucky to have a job already but gosh does it sound grim for my friends who are about to live exactly that. Fingers crossed things get better. I might tell them to apply to Fullcircle and help lose another "pre-pre" haha
Man the fact that Skate is still being made after all these years and Tim, sweetsweet Tim, is being brought to make promo material is the ultimate culmination of things in my life. There's still hope for the future. Thank you all. So much love. Can't wait to play Funtrack for 1000 hrs as Tim Robinson
@@aceman0000099 exactly. i dont know how people dont understand 1. how long it takes to make a game, and 2. that most devs dont show the *entire* process like this.
I like the idea of placing obstacles while in motion. A Mario-Kart/Fall guys type game mode where it’s a race and you can pick up and place objects to stop other players would be really fun
Guys - I did a couple of the closed playtests: it plays really well, you can skate super realistic, or do crazy coffin backflips and stuff, it's all there
I also was part of playtesting and playing this game felt like the biggest disappointment in my life. Too much arcade, just remake skate 2+3 at this point
It’s crazy how couple days ago I just decided to see what’s new with skate thinking it was forgotten and then BOOM! Summer Game Fest and I see this gold. Can’t wait!
Since the last gameplay reveal game looks really good, im probably a small minority in this but I really hope we get to see real skaters in the game just like the previous ones,, maybe not a whole story line like the last one but the possibility to join pros on a sesh or having challenge us to a shoot etc.
I would love to see 50 or so variables for each trick: every time you do a tre flip, it looks slightly different than the last. A method can be grabbed and tweaked to a few different models, etc.
The fact that it’s been 4 years and we are getting pre pre alpha footage is mind boggling. I respect they’re trying to make it the best game ever but shouldn’t haven’t even announced it if there was literally nothing to show. And if we wait all this time and there is no story mode, that will just be sad
I’ve been playing the Pre-pre-pre alpha build that leaked 2 years ago and it was already in a playable state without textures. The map layout while not super fleshed out already had some AMAZING spots to hit. Considering we went over a decade thinking the trilogy was over, it’ll be worth the wait.
I've got a few ideas for some small game mechanics/modes! I hope the team takes time to look at some of the communities reasonable ones! Here's a couple of mine Tow rope bungies for speed in tight spots Spot battle leader boards with custom stickers on the spot or near by Death races with pedestrians and or vehicles (sketching allowed in some instances) A donkey kong mode where you ollie or flip trick over to survive the longest Also being this is a live service game I am hoping they implement a weekly update on Hall of Meat Challenges and own the spot areas. Also allowing players to post a 1up challange for a trick or set score would be sick. Set in a radius that the player can select. Trick speed challenges (Also super pumped about the first person POV that can't just be a tease) I have a couple more ideas brewing! I'd love to hear what other people are thinking.
Please, please, please let me test this fall on console!😭I register for these types of things, but never get lucky enough and this is by far my favourite game series
You guys got me so excited with the trailer just to shove it all under the rug and use both of your one trick pony answers "we're still working on it" "pre-pre-alpha"
Hopefully this ramp-up in marketting on the channel, as well as the clear boost in the graphical fidelity of the game with that gameplay preview at the end, is a good sign of how close we are to getting this game in our hands
