I would be depressed too if I didn't know if I wasn't going to Heaven or not? Because with Catholicism, you don't know because salvation is based on works ("YET the GRACE of Baptism DELIVERS NO ONE from ALL the WEAKNESS of NATURE" - i.e. sin. [Catechism 978]) My friend cut out Catholicism and believe in Jesus Christ alone for salvation!
