He killed palpatine after palpatin killed the jedi and therefore bringed balance to the force. He really was the chosen one, Kenobi was wrong. Thats also why the movie 7,8,9 are completnon sens and just destroy vader history.
This is proof that Anakin is still the main character in the Star Wars story as we know it. It's a story about his tragedy, and how he eventually fought against evil once again.
@@zacharyradford5552 saving Palpatine is the last thing he did as Anakin, after that, the dark side has engulfed him and the person who killed innocents was Darth Vader, the evil part, not the good part in him, Anakin.
@@panzerkampfwagen161 Sounds like BS to me. He was fallen from the moment he slew a entire tribe of sentient beings like animals. Not just the men remember? But the women, and the children too. He was already Vader from that point forward. I don't buy it was some star crossed romance. Padme knew what Anakin was all about. Instead of ringing the Space Cops, she admitted her love for him and married the dude shortly after. She's was a truly awful person too.
@@ExpertAssass1n Hehe, yeah, that's kinda true. But, George Lucas was going to have Leia be the main character in the sequels. So, I bet we would've gotten significant interactions between Leia and force ghost Anakin.
The one I miss is.. technically...still alive. The person that she was though, long dead and gone.. Perhaps because of my inaction to do things that I needed to and since I didn't, she grew resentful, distant and then one day...Gone. I feel your pain. All we can do is try and do better .. I don't believe if I am entirely at fault like Anakin in his actions in choices, ultimately was. I believe I am to blame for most of my loss. But, I don't beat myself up every day, such as Vader / Anakin does. Instead, I just fear the same thing happening again. Having my heartbroken, thinking I might break someone else's and I isolate and stay away from most people. I believe that having people close...In most instances.. Ultimately ends up with them becoming a liability. PTSD, it's great. Thank God for my son and my nephews....Otherwise, I would see no point in living. Yep..

You gotta realize, him taking his helmet off makes him feel his skin burning again as when he fell in the lava and hes unable to breathe... all that just to see Padme with his own eyes again.
His skin doesn’t burn again... his skin has already healed. He cannot breathe without causing himself severe pain, but he can live without the helmet for a while. Moreover, with meditation, he was even able to heal his organs from damage, but Palpatine did not allow him to devote much time to this in order to control his physical capabilities. It's not about burnt skin, it's about damage to internal organs
And the fact that he slaughtered countless men to visit and Mourne the loss of his late wife which Vader apparently killed (not anakin although they are 1 human)
He literally gets his dark side power from pain and suffering, hence making him the Perfect Sith according to Palpy. Heck, his lost potential meant nothing since he punches way above his weight class. The only thing that weights him down is his love for Padme that he never got over with.
He actualy can survive without his suit and can controll him with the force that is why palpatin was scared by vader he was stronger then him and that is why he wanted Luke as a new aprantice because palpatin was stronger then Luke at that point vader died because he let go of the dark side not because of the lightning
@@LetsGetitBoah If you delve into a character like Anakin, you realize that he had no choice. The whole atmosphere in which he was located since childhood left him no other choice. His story is very similar to life, it is not black and white.
A villain who was a misunderstood broken hero that turned to the dark side because of "Fear" of lossing the love of his life "Hatred" towards the Jedi council & the "Pain" of the loss of his mother.
So sad so fucking sad they both didn’t deserve this. That little boy back in episode one is still in there and he has to see what has become of his decisions and being corrupted by the dark side . I MISS YOU PADME !!!! 😭😭😭😭
A man a hero who was a slave all his life and who lost all these reasons to live but who did everything for love a fallen angel with a broken heart we love you Anakin as Padme said there was always good in him
“I am not blind, Padmé. Though I have tried to be, for Anakin’s sake. And for yours. Anakin has loved you since the day you met, in that horrible junk shop on Tatooine. He’s never even tried to hide it, though we do not speak of it. We... pretend that I don’t know. And I was happy to, because it made him happy. You made him happy, when nothing else ever truly could.”
@@user-sq5nu7hj8vBecause ultimately, the choice was his. I don't like it anymore than you do. I believe that the Jedi forced him to turn elsewhere. And there were so many circumstances that drove him to think that what he was doing was right. But like I said, the ultimate choice was his.
Being a slave to a Jedi slave and too a Sith slave, Padmé’s love was the only thing he ever truly had that was his….until his son came and freed him, for the first time in his life, he finally had freedom 😢
@@albino5995 he was not a slave to the jedi lol. he couldve left whenever he wanted. he wanted to be there, they all served the force and the republic. if anakin was a slave to the jedi, then every other jedi is too. Anakin wanted to learn the ways of the force and be a jedi more than anything.
@@Uncivil_Dreams lets be honest bro...every child wants to learn how to be a jedi...only at puberty you realize you can't do anything you want at all..
This is so poetic. Almost insinuating Vader is not allowed in Padmes tomb. It's Anakin thru and thru. Quite possibly the only place in the galaxy Vader can be Anakin without the looming threat of Palpatine. Here there is no hatred, no fear, no anger, Padme seen too much of it already. Here Anakin ponders the decisions he's made til this point and makes sure his wife rests peacefully
@@theguybehindyou4762I mean but Padme’s death is just dumb, cuz the alternative if it’s not Vaders fault, is that she just gave up living. George could have at least made it be plausible like she lost too much blood in birth.
There was a rumor that George Lucas and his associates had talked about that padmae faked her death and resign to live as a hermit because of her heartbreak of Anakin turn to the dark side we don't know for sure if it was the Jedis that hit her or if it was the emperor
Vader actually attempted to bring Padme back from the dead using the Aeon Engine. The machine would have to drain the life force of an entire planet or planets in order to work, which is how Mustafar became the hellscape that it is, but before Padme materialized, he was stopped by a descendant of Lady Corvax.
For reference when he removes the helmet not only can he not breathe but it feels like he’s burning on mustafar and also he is no longer able to produce tears so he cried his very last tears he was storing on her grave
Хоть это и компьютерная анимация, но момент перехватывает дыхание. Этот момент в фильме имел бы такой же успех, как воспоминания Северуса в Гарри Поттере: - После стольких лет? - Всегда.
This is truly heartbreaking to see even Anakin takes off his helmet even though he needs it to survive he takes it off to honour her and pay his respects
I watched this video what seemed like 100 times just to find the words to put to this. I like to write poems, and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it. In blackest night, he stands alone, A shadowed figure, cold as stone. The Dark Lord's heart, once filled with love, Is now consumed by pain and woe. His thoughts are haunted by her face, The memory of her warm embrace. He hears her voice, her gentle sighs, Her laughter and her loving eyes. But now she's gone, forever lost, And all that's left is bitter cost. The pain he feels is like a knife, That cuts him deep, through all his life. He wonders if he's truly damned, If he can ever be redeemed. The weight of guilt is like a chain, The binds him to his tragic fate. And though he tries to hide his pain, It lingers on, a constant stain. For in his heart, he knows the truth, That he alone is to blame for her youth. The Dark Lord's tears will never dry, For he's condemned to live and die, With Padme's memory, forever nigh, A source of pain that cannot die.
it’s crazy to think that he has literally known her since he’s been a little boy that was literally his crush his whole life. Pretty much had everything a man ever needs power, love, it’s crazy to think of what fear or i should say how the amount of fear can change one’s whole mindset.

Anakin was a slave under the Jedi council and then a slave under the empire. Yet, he's only kneeing to the grave of the woman who set him free. How poetic.
@@viktorskold9593 The point is he never willingly kneeled to show respect. Do you really think Vader had any respect for Palpatine after he was put in a painful suit? Fuck no. He had no choice, so he had to serve. Here he kneels to Padme with all his heart.
Vader was truly a hero in his own way, because behind the dark side was Padme’s love, the love he had for his unborn child and a man who loved his mother too much.
He is not evil Just a soul that's lost and manipulate d beyond imagination and because of that it's made conflicted and confused on what side to take and following the death of his wife made him tick beyond saving until his son showed him nothing but kindness and understanding
@@noodletornado309 he was hella manipulated tho even by the force itself planting those visions in his head imagine if some supernatural being kept telling you your wife is gonna die and shows you her death repeatedly would you not do anything to prevent it especially if someone offered you a way to save her Anakin's biggest flaw was he couldn't accept loss and was overprotective of those he loved
“It goes to show you the person you thought was the villain, is really the victim Everyone thought of him as this big evil guy who had no heart but in reality he’s a man who’s lost everything” -George Lucas
The greatness in Vader/Anakin's character, to me, is that he failed in everything, he lost everything he had by his own fault, and still he found the strength to do the right thing in the end. He regained a glimpse of hope when the time has come, and brought balance to the Force and peace to the galaxy in his last moments.
Lmao he’s an insane villain, every villain has these moments of sitting and realizing how deep they got.. remember Thanos 🫰🏿 he has moments like this before he proceeded to kill the only thing he cared about
Anakin went from the light side to the dark side, he saw a vision of padme dying. He gave everything he knew, everything he was fighting for. For love. And yet he lost it all. He’s not a villain. He’s someone with a cold broken heart
If Ted Bundy or say Pol Pot had gotten a broken heart before his murder spree, he'd have still been a murderer and a villain though, just because a tragic or bad thing happens which is tragic and sad especially if not your fault-which to be fair this was Anakin's fault regarding Padme's fate- but for arguments sake let's say he didn't get Padme Killed, and just had gotten a "broken heart" and then used that as justification to just be rage filled and violent and go out and murder/kill thousands of people, he would still by the very literal definition be a hardcore villain performing acts of incredible evil. Experiencing tragedy and responding to said tragedy with murderous rage/violence doesn't somehow diminish those acts just because one's heart is broken ya know.
I can just see the pure pain and suffering in his eyes. This actually hurts me emotionally and makes me tear up. It’s enough to make a full grown man cry. Edit: Thank you guys so much I have never gotten this much likes.
I think one of the saddest descriptions I ever read was that after Mustafar, Vader went through a constant mental struggle. He relived the Mustafar fight over and over, but instead of Vader versus Obi-Wan it was Vader vs Anakin. And Anakin lost every single time except one. That one time was when he died saving his son
I always looked at him as bringing balance to the force by being a pure manifestation of the force, and being the paragon of both sides. He was the Best and worst the force had to offer.
Lol what? Have you seen what they did with Kenobi? Boba Fett? Luke? Kathleen Kennedy has nothing but disrespect for George Lucas characters. They will absolutely butcher Vader if they make a show about him.
Agreed 💯. A show that follows just Vader and his early struggles as Vader as he deals with his crippling depression and trying to do "right" by his master. Be an amazing show I think!
@@bf859 Yes it is. But people are dumb sheep who will consume product whatever Disney shoves down their throats and move onto next product without asking questions
Anakin is one of if not the most tragic character in cinema. He had a destiny pushed onto him that at the same time everyone doubted of him. He knew at first sight when he'd met the love of his life and he ends up being the reason she dies. Even the way Obi-Wan deals with him in the end, it isn't the way a true loving brother would have. He confronts him aggressively and immediately resorts to violence. Then he's stuck serving the person he most viewed as a kind and wise mentor who turned out to be his worst enemy that set everything in motion for him to lose it all. Fuck man, Anakin had it rough. He got about ten or twelve "good" years and the rest was pure slavery.
Poor guy, it's horrible to see him like this, it's too obvious that he's suffering from what he was able to do and what he suffered, it's touching, he doesn't like being Darth Vader and that you can see it in his eyes, the way he looks to the side and he squats down to cry if you can say that, he has a big heart he is not bad at heart
