the music in the back is almost acting like the story that's trying to narrate itself is drowning in the memories, the bass being the heart palpitating for the last time, begging to continue life - it's like the final moments before the mind and body shutting down. All in a withdrawal to the aftermath of life being taken away just after finally being 'saved' meaning finally being alive, finally loving, finally having hope. The 'all of it' flashing away like a dream, Anakin falling out of it.
I briefly forgot I wrote this, but man it was easy to describe what I felt when I saw this silky video. I just felt it. Video with emotion to portray the vibe/character/story is crucial. It's done very well here@@OGStarlightKY
It will always be one of the rawest, most powerful lines I’ve ever heard. The way they made it go from Anakin’s voice, to Darth’s, & mixed them…just wow
Every time I see that old man unmasked, I’m reminded that Anakin was only 45 when he died. 45! Still in the prime of life. I just can’t reconcile that face with the Anakin we know and love.
Yes but he saved the galaxy, he came back and gave one last breath to save his son and in turn the entire galaxy. In the end he saves the world and got to be at peace and leave the clutches of slavery forever.
The older I've gotten the more I've come to appreciate and feel for, the tragedy that was Anakins life. Life seemed so black and white as a kid good vs evil. But as you get older you begin to understand how emotions and human nature can cloud even the best of intentions and make the good or right choice harder to distinguish.
I mean even still - - there is a clear good and clear wrong that Lucas outlines; the difference is, what we realize is that while there is clear good and clear evil, there is also an ambiguity provided to us as we do not know what is to be the clear good and clear wrong in our decisions.
Anakin is gone hits when Obi Wan apologizes that he destroyed his life by removing both legs and an arm plus getting lit on fire while he stood there and watched, Obi Wan was the one who really killed Anakin.
When Darth Vader died, that was when star wars ended.I always like to think of anakin/darth vader to be the protagonist and the movies show the rise, fall to the dark side and redemption of his
this is the edit that belongs in a gallery, it's the true reflection of this masterpiece of a story between obi-wan and anakin. first he states anakin as gone and then he is found thanks to his son.
thank you man! the downfall of anakin skywalker has to be one of the most heartbreaking character arcs in fiction of all time, and his redemption in the end with Luke is so beautiful yet saddening to see.
He lost -His Childhood -His mom due to Obi Wan not teaching him the thoughts and way to die to jealousy -Held back by Obi Wan due to jealousy -Underappretiation of the council -Lost Qui Gon, could’ve been father figure -Lost Padme -Killed to beat with for Padme -Lost his life -Hrew up a slave
imagine the shock in the theater in the early 80s when the audience following these characters found out that Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader are the same person!
Well its not his fault..he always wanted to follow force like it is... Jedi weren't good guys..jedi did alot of evil which wasn't infront of people..but alot of jedi users started too question the jedi ways..if order was pure right, that should have never happened... force created Anakin to bring change...a change which both jedi sith didn't see it coming or liked.. force is force both light and dark..anakin became both sides of it..
back then, when i first got into star wars ( a long time ago), i didnt thought much of vader. which is sad..because i still was not understanding enough to realize the importance of the scene with him dying. wish i could go back.
hey doing an edit like this rn, was just wondering hwo you managed to do the text style and transition in 0:08 ? would be much appreciated (using premier pro btw)
for the “gone” part of it, right? I used a white stroke outline for that, as far as the rest of the text goes I put keyframes at the beginning and end of each sentence and increased the size. I also added fade in/outs to each sentence as well. hope this helps
@BGKVisuals ahhhh I see now, thanks for the help, it so much simpler once you explained it. I am now regretting adding a gaussian blur as a bottom layer for the text 🥲🥲
@@BGKVisuals would you be willing to make a video based on creating free thinkers? Using the V for Vendetta movie clips and a few additions from my own mind??
