@@exsuspalp5078 That was justifiable. And I don't want to hear that bs about the women and children being innocent. They kidnapped an innocent woman who was doing nothing more than picking mushrooms off vaporators on her own property. They took her back to their encampment, where they strung her up to a post crucifixion-style. They took turns beating her with gaffi sticks, leaving her with broken bones and internal hemorrhaging. They did this, day in and day out, for a period of a month. A search party went after them, a search party of 30 people--the Tuskens killed 26 of those 30, and chopped Cliegg's leg off. The Tusken Raiders were brutal savages and probably did the same to others. Anakin did everyone a favor by wiping them out. Anakin should have claimed the entire planet of them.
I agree with you. But at the same time we understand what is gonna come later in the movie. Also another emotional part for me was when The helmet closed on Anakin as he took his first breath as Vader, that part gave me goosebumps and to this day that scene still gives me goosebumps.
@@user-yr5pc4qq4h dude on earth people are fighting on both sides of the war to avoid unwanted casualities we made it an war crime, but that is not the case in clone wars one side is an unfeeling emotion less droids who are not going to get exhausted require sleep and rest but other side we have clones an living form with all things like food, water ,sleep, rest and they cannot be easily replaced . it is entirely different situation , even then they don't have any of such rule in star wars and again rules of war apply only in case of war between two or more nations but it cannot be followed in case of civil war

@@buster3041 what new style you do realize that when Anakin became Vader there was some things including his fighting actions that he couldn’t leave behind. I respect your statement but I have to agree with the other guy it’s brilliant.
@@tyreksaunders9515 You know what new style? He obviously had to adjust to not being able to fight like how he used. So him already fighting like vader makes no sense.
@UR DADDY yeah, series 6 and 7 are half seasons due to the Disney/Lucasfilm deal and there was meant to be a season 8 so essentially two seasons are missing. A lot of characters deserved more time then they got in the final season due to this
Idk why people say that it’s not believable that season 7 Anakin can turn... he’s still the hero, but apart from the obvious Vader personality that he has sometimes (when he killed admiral trench for example), you can clearly see how he is an extremely tired man, no longer enthusiastic and faking to be alright. It’s strange no one asked him “is everything okay?”. His behavior is similar to ROTS, he seems to smile and be happy but he’s clearly not OK inside. I would have loved to see more of him in s7, since the fatigue of the outer rim sieges certainly had an impact on his ability to think rationally in ROTS
That’s was one of the problems with the Jedi council they told him to ignore his feelings, which is not healthy for any person. Plus over the years the council never respected him for what he did a lot of the stuff in rots got done because of Anakin the war would be different without him, Dooku would be alive and probably obi wan be dead
He is fine when his friend are with him and he constantly communicating with Padme. But when they are not around he shows his true personality. He was smiling when he was with bad batch and Rex but right after he left them to find Trench his face looked so similar to when the Son make him fall to the dark side.
21~22 years old so stressed and tired the only thing literally probably keeping him even moving is the force just like the novelization of ROTS quoted the force can keep him upright keep him moving keep him going 😔
It’s sad because that last shot is the last time we see this good Anakin. The Anakin that we rooted for all throughout the Clone Wars series, watching him become a well rounded character, he dies in a few days after this. Tragic
@@thegoose2479 Anakin never died though, or the events of him killing Palpatine to save luke wouldn’t have transpired. Vader is the product of all of Anakin’s rage, fear and hate amplified by the dark side. Not sure how they are inherently separate beings. Anakin choose his path to become vader. No other sith gets an excuse of having a separate “not himself” personality, except for vader.
Yeah, you look at this guy in season 7 and see how hard it is to believe that he's going to go slaughter a room full of unarmed senators, generals, businessmen, leaders, exterminate an entire religion, and betray everyone he's worked so hard to protect and everything he's worked so hard to achieve. And then be burned alive. Absolutely everything about him just screams "Hero"
No I think it screams a very genuine but underdeveloped or at least less mature feeling approach. He is kind of like a loyal puppy dog in a way, not that he's stupid per se but very loyal to his friends. In a very caring way but you can see how this would come apart. Especially if pushed and with enough negative experiences and some isolation, plus his core emotional security being threatened and relationships. Not surprised he breaks down he's going through a lot and this is like the good phase. The oh everything is fine before the oh fuck its not

After seeing Anakin in Season 7, it was like Episode III hit me so much harder. I felt like it made his fall to the dark side so much more devastating. I'd be sobbing like a baby if I were Obi-Wan.
@@sancho608 and the model is based on heyden's facial Matt lantern only voice him in cartoon while heyden is irreplaceable and the real Anakin so get over of it
@@joanncatibod8150 hayden is irreplaceable but the way this anakin is voiced and characterised by matt makes him far better than the whiny hayden. Hayden doesn't show the qualities of anakin which are described as heroic, mature, leader, forthright. He's just a whiny spoiled jedi
5:02 does anyone else realize that Anakin’s sarcasm here is a reference to The first episode of the clone wars when the toydarian King says one jedi is worth a thousand driods
The saddest thing for me about this season is that you just know what’s coming. The scenes in every episode seem to become prolonged than before, and you can tell that there’s not much time left for order 66 to be revealed. I was so emotional when maul began to talk about it before he was captured. He knew what was coming and knew that Anakin was running out of time. The scene where they boarded the star destroyer broke me, the eerie silence between scenes and then we get the subtle hints that order 66 is under way, and that Ashoka has her visions and realised that Anakin was in danger. Truly heartbreaking to me.
The fact he almost never appeared in the sequels except a single voice line is the most devastating thing ever. Especially since his lightsaber was literally buried in SAND.
When the show originally got canceled and then they released the unfinished reels with the season 7 models, I was so sad we'd never get to see the fully finished clone wars style episode 3 Anakin. It was worth the the seven year wait!
People saying that it's hard to imagine that this is Vader, but honestly, I can see it. This is how Vader acts, only much more intimidating and murder happy, with less patience when it comes to his subordinates and not as relaxed

@@TheLuconic I love ROTS, I love the Clone Wars, but I would be pissed if they were to animate it. However, if they make an animated “movie” of the crystal crisis arc I’ll love that because we all just want to see more newly animated Anakin, Obi Wan, and Grievous
Just because it’s a show doesn’t mean you can’t get emotional, the most times I’ve cried at media was during Star war’s, especially clone wars and rebels
@@Capybara2240 Yes for me the Clone Wars animated series and Rebels with the introduction of Ahsoka and Maul is the best of all Star Wars. That moment where he senses ahsoka, he's so good that it almost makes up for the horrible arc. I'm sure you all know it's a reference to return of the Jedi
It had to match Hayden’s hairstyle from ROTS as season 7 of Clone Wars is literally set weeks before the Episode III so they had to make his hair long to march Anakin from the movies.
I really appreciate the clone wars because it shows how Anakin's character develops to a place where he is taken over by Darth Vader. Imo the prequel trilogy doesn't develop him enough to get him there
I'm so glad you included Admiral Yularen saying Anakin Skywalker in the opening narration. Without Tom Kane telling me who Anakin Skywalker is every episode, I wouldn't know who that was.
You know after The bad batch came out, 1:35 becomes more interesting, Anakin senses crosshair as an immediate threat, Crosshair also hold his blaster pointed at Anakin for some time before they both lower their weapons. Seems like Crosshair had no issue killing Jedi before order 66 came into affect
Fun Fact: The way that Anakin kills the giant Spider Droid at 2:42 is extremely similar to animation used in the old Xbox 360 game Star Wars: the Clone Wars Republic Heroes when killing the same exact time of droid. Look up some footage of the first level in the game, and you’ll see what I mean at the end. If that was intentional, that was a great way reference to a pretty obscure piece of Star Wars media that came out around the same time this TV show started!
And 5:49 when Anakin saw Ashoka like he woke up from depression and then when they met in person he looked at her with such affection like he would thought My Baby is here with me again, my Sweet Ashoka, I missed her so much, like he wanted to turn her to him and hug her and kiss her, tell her everything that he felt and later when he gave her lightsabers and left her alone she looked like She wanted say to him what she had felt but she went coward on him and shuted her mouth, they love eachother, and were eachothers soulmates
some say anakin was "dark" for killing trench and i would disagree bc it was technically self defense since trench attacked him with the electric cane and to be fair, anakin warned him he had no weaknesses or that he would kill him like dooku would. i still think anakin is the chosen one and although he did bad things, you can't blame him for turning to the dark side knowing all the doubt and lack of support on top of losing so much. i feel the jedi council was responsible for holding him back and doubting him since he was little. i know there were concerns but still fair to support him like any jedi
@@anton.chigrinetc.96 You're right. To be exact, the events of RotS span 4 days - to be fair to Sasha though, the film doesn't exactly do a great job of portraying the passage of time, the official novelization does it much better.
Only Revenge of the Sith - paints him as a young man: with uncertainty, doubts, and ulterior motives. The rest... *wayyyyy* before "the Clone Wars" series... Lol
Still frustrated to this day about people talking about this "high ground" thing with Obiwan on Mustafar as a physical/realistic issue. Anakin spent most of the clone wars - lightsaber duels included - jumping around everywhere, both in series and movies. Being 1 meter downhill from your opponent was NEVER stated as being an issue, for such accomplished warriors : they basically almost fly, and can push themselves or others, at anytime, to change their courses/gravity, or deflect almost anything. It always sounded more like a philosophical stand point, the MORALE high ground, making Anakin rage "weak", as he's losing himself, and his noble strenght, to the dark side, and he's just trying to lie to himself. Obiwan really looks like he's saying : "you know you're fooling yourself, stop this madness, you know I tell the truth, you know the Jedis are the good side, here, if there's any. You know I got the morale high ground in this pointless debate and battle between each other, brother. Just surrender and give up your foolishly murderous errands, here. You can't win this argument of catastrophic proportions. You can't beat me like this. It's a whole. And you're fighting the wrong person, for the wrong reasons. And that's why you're not winning here, and already have lost, somehow, even if you beat me. I got the (morale) high ground." Seeing him take down a building-tall droid artillery like he was pouring himself a cup of tea on a chill sunday sure reinforce my conviction about that. Please make a point to reinstall the true meaning of this high ground. Jedis are freaking demi-gods of war feats and virtue. Not out of breath amateur athletes slipping on a simple sommersault.
What you're saying is right. In any other context/battle Anakin would've won but remember, he isn't fighting a droid, or a jedi apprentice, he is fighting his former master Obi-Wan, maybe against any other adversary below obi wan that move is completely safe to use but this was a Jedi master at his prime, who defeated Darth maul (later kills him in one move) if at all Obi Wan is the master of using an opponent's mistake to win a fight, in ROTS it was Anakin's arrogance, sober (haha) light side Anakin wouldn't have attempted that move ON Obi-Wan. Plus obi-wan was practically destined/trained to fight and win against Anakin from the very beginning. There's a video on it, cheers.
