I'm still salty about the Two H. And Hiss tag team not passing eliminations that year. They had my favorite team routine that year, and maybe of all time.
I'll never understand it. Their elim showcase was so memorable and I can hardly remember who else got through apart from the top two teams. Forever bitter about that. Some of the judging that year was just terrible.
@@radicalbradical3164 well that's highly debatable, there are a lot of situations in life where the majority gets it wrong. It is easy to influence the majority, and so easy for a figure or figures in the majority to dissuade the rest.
@@radicalbradical3164 no, I acknowledge the fact that it is based on opinion. I just think that in this case the opinions of the majority judges was poorly structured, and it was because they were probably too heavily influenced by the reaction of the crowd, just as Madox said. I believe the crowd could not "comprehend" how technically difficult and perfect Two H was given that he's so unique and no one else really does what he does, whereas they recognize well the hard hitting sick beats of Alexinho, and hence why they reacted so crazily to Alexinho's 2nd round, and hence that influenced the judges easily. And in most cases, people tend to feel the better impact of the individual who has the last say, in this case whoever has the last round, and sure I'll give Alex props for taking complete ownership of the atmosphere on the last round. Again, sure it's opinion, but in this case I think the opinions were heavily influenced by the crowd and hey, Wawad and Alem are French, don't think there might be a slightest bit of national influence?
@@radicalbradical3164 But I get your point, things are based on the majority and their opinion and that's how it works in the real world. I'm just reiterating myself.
Amazing Analysis as always! I def agree Two.H won that. He was cleaner more structured and had the most perfect routine ever in the second round. Loved it and big ups to Alexinho as well!
I admire his perfectly timed comment. If you look around 14:19, Madox comments, and beatbox goes to background. When he finished his comment, the beat naturally come to main. Damn! You genius
@@imdeejayem3705 IM sorry but i think alem / wawad is biased judge on that time he always supporting french guy even hiss vs alexinho they give a tied vote IMO
Imagine if two.h won on this battle then he'll face hiss the next round and on this year hiss and two.h participates on tag team category as mnstwns hahaha. That would be epic.
Honestly, Two H is one of the most unique beatboxers out there, but Alexinho battle techniques are insane. It feels like he studied every beatboxer in the game and has a comeback for everyone. Crazy battle. 2017 was the best GBB year yet. Period.
MAN! A GREAT PERSON IS THAT WHO FOLLOWS UP WITH THE NEED OF OTHERS AND YOU AS A RU-vidR FOLLOWED THE ADVICE.YOU SPENT YOUR HALF AN HOUR TO PUT THE TITLE !!! BIG UPS ! APPRECIATED !
ngl, every single time i watch this battle i literally just cry, this is just too beautiful. am i dumb? this battle made me start beatboxing, i got nowhere, not even went to an event but fucking love it thanks to this two guys. i am actually crying right now xD
@@Madoxbeatbox yooo u replied?! Omg thanks man! And i just randomly come listen to the beatbox u did haha😅🔥 And thankyou so much i am a big fan so the fact that you replyed is actually unbeliveable! I really aprecciate it! Keep it up🔥🔥
Hey Madox do you remember the 7 to smoke battle between Alexinho and Slizzer at world sbx camp where they mimicked your laughing style 😂😂😂 Dammnn, brings back memories 💜😂
I guess on a purely technical level, disregarding the audience, Two-H clearly won. But I have to say as soon as Alexinhos second round started, I couldn't hold my feet still. In terms of a competition, he didn't offered much variety, but it is just so damm catchy and captivating that you can't stop moving to it. The hole beat was driving forward with no signs of stopping. (That long buildup really worked for me in that case to support it.) Combined with the surprise of the double voices, I guess that was, what triggered the audience reactions and with that convinced the jury, even though it was not the cleanest performance. Btw.: I think that's a great question: What should be Judging criteria's for a battle? Only the "isolated beats", or also stage presence, crowd control, audience reaction? I would say that the later are the reasons, why Codfish is so successful. Not because he is so technical or has unique sounds, but because his performances are just so incredibly musical and captivating with insane stage performance.

I went back to watch some of two h videos again going a few years back and realised he was doing stuff that was years ahead of the times , things that are becoming mainstream sounds in today’s beatbox. Two H is a legend
Heeey Madox, i need to hear any edited audio jingle you do without any fx, because i'm a funny person (: top video, people should more analyses with graphical content Btw, i'm really looking forward for more of these videos, especialy because you add a couple of stories about the battles (the part where you tell us how Alexinho learnt this sound, that's dope! Having that in mind adds something else to the viewing experience)
Hey Madox, I would absolutely love it if you analyze Wolfgang vs Rougue Wave in Sbx camp 2019. It's a really underrated battle where I think Rouge Wave should've won. Cheers fam
To be fair to alexinho, counters are a pretty big part of beatbox battles, especially for special sounds. I prefered two.h in this but I think counters are about more than just "copying" the other beatboxer.
As Madox analyzed already, Colaps needed a bit more variety (less clicks) and that high-pitched inward sound wasn't the most powerful one at least in his opinion
FINALLY!!!! Just wanna mention Two h had the best showcase that year. The absolute craziest showcase ive seen.. Alexhino's flow is soooo good. Two has second round holy shit... I still can't do those weird click timings. Holy shit that bassline. That build up. THAT KICK/snare WTF. THAT DROP. HOOOLY SHIT. He changed beatboxing. Also 22:25 my favorite bbk of all time. Also amazing story at 29:33 with Two h and alex, i love that kind of stuff. Do I dare ask, for alexhino vs alem?
@@Immanuel_jijo idk man I think (just as Madox said) the counter was overhyped and Two H's second round was literally PERFECT. That compound rhythm where he does the throat bass and clicks is freaking 11 out of 10 on the difficulty scale , its so hard to time it right its basically having to use 2 gears in your brain simultaneously. It was so melodically pleasing as well. Two H has 10/10 for both musicality and technical difficulty. Yes, Alex did a sick counter, but I still don't buy that the counter alone beats Two H's flawlessness.
Agreed. Possibly, the judges couldn't catch on to Two H's routine with this weird tempo change and style, the same way the fans in attendance didn't despite it being so original and new, and compared to Alexinho's first round, despite Alex having a portion which was sloppy and unclear, the rest sounded quite clean and crisp and easy to judge. Alexinho's second round especially with the polyphonic voice counter might've shined over Two H's second round which I still think is superior in hindsight. That's just my opinion, I still think it should've been at LEAST an overtime round following this but, we're nearly 4 years too late. :')
hey madox i know you are reading my comment[coz u r a man of culture] Can you pls lower the sound of LET ME ANALYSE THAT in your video, its too fkin loud
it's happy to see that madox bring a new fresh content on youtube and always updrage the stuff for the content so we can enjoy it at our home :D thank you so much madox !! big hug from indonesia for you madox !!
Alexinho is truly a very good beatboxer, but he copies too much sounds from others. I have a friend, who I won’t cite here cuz he doesn’t want to, had his whole routine copied and since he isn’t a big beatboxer no one will ever know about it
