10:35 madox said : combo with duck sound . I know that's a tiny mistake but I need to point it out for beginner beatboxers Madox meant cat sound or meow sound.
B-Art lyrics: Buffalo charge dangargan talkin' again, go early slash to the garden back-yard climbing, the bar breaking can’t stop when you’re zoning, we up the end ting tycho tech with your crown and capture your man type takeover when you deal with, yeah gee tell it and sling it you won’t can’t get a grip then head out innit.
as i have said many a times, i dont think that b-art tries to make his lyrics digestable. I think he makes them unclear by purpose, to make it sound sicker. and in my opinion it definetely works. I LOVE those parts with his throat bass and the unclear lyrics the hype is at like 200%
I saw Sxin and Chezame's reaction to this battle as well and I must say that I agree with Madox, talking about the beat D-Low did after he said "leave the dnb for the uk style". In Chezame's video they said it was off-flow and you could see it because the crowd wasn't moving. I had to rewatch that part many times and in my opinion he is actually flowing pretty nicely and he's being on time for the duration of this beat. Of course it's not your "everyday-flow" but he's most definitely on point
I don't know if you know, but D-Low mentioned in his own reaction to this battle, that you couldn't understand his lyrics before the drop on purpose, as a part of his kind of dig about how B-Art has a bunch of lyrics you can't understand. That's why he was so excited at the start of B-Art's second round when he started doing the lyrical part, because he was prepared to use that as a rebuttal.
I think the problem with the "no touching" rule, is that in nearly every GBB, someones done it, I know Gene and Napom both did, so punishing D-Low could have caused problems
I just wanna say thank you Madox for uploading videos like this. It helps a lot, especially for a beatboxer who doesn't have experience in an actual battle like me. Keep the good stuffs comin bro!
I didn't realise how long B-Art's build up in the first round took until now - by the time he got to the drop (underwhelming) he only had like 25 seconds left 😯 still mad respect to both him and D-Low for giving us this insane battle!
I like how madox does construtive criticism to beatboxers who he's not close with but is totally brutally honest when it comes to criticizing his bro B-art. HAHAAHA
The inward drag drop in round 2 nearly made D-Low pass out because he was taking in so much air Amazing different analysis by the way. I am really enjoying bouncing between reactors atm But the MOC awards is like... very big brain of you :)
Hello madox bro...thanks a lot for your analysis videos and sharing your knowledge with us...🙏👊 And if you see this could you please do some little videos on what are technical,freestyle,etc....beatboxing and sounds and techniques used there...and some explanations on famous music genres used in beatboxing(we know u are busy...if you get a free time give a try) Anyway love and respect ❤️🔥👊
B-ART: Finishes his round in this video at 15:47 and it switches to D-Low D-Low: Starts Free Styling at 15:49 *Scott Jackson who was waiting to say "Time" at 15:48 be like: Tf am I here for?? 😂😂
D-Low is a very natural performer as well as a natural born beatboxer...The guy is an incredibly talented showman all the way around; much like our friend Napom.
Man of cultureee ESH! I think d-low won this battle. I think his structure and cleanliness is a lot more better than b-art's. Also in terms of flow a lot more better as well. I don't know why but b-art sometimes has Better build-ups than drops.
Madox love your videos. Was wondering if it's possible for you to contact the judges for every beatbox battle that have occured, and ask them in a call or via email why they chose their votes. It's been in my mind for awhile because there's no explanation for every battle but just votes. Thanks and keep up the great content. P.S. is there such thing as woman of culture? 😂
Yeah its a sick idea, but it would make the production to complicated and unsustainable for me. I‘m working on a competition tho, where I analyze videos directly with the judges. PS: yes there is woman of culture, YOU!
Yo Madox... For so long times, I wondering if there's someone who will make a videos like this. And finally I found your videos...Thank you, this is what I searching about
I gotta say d low was so far ahead of other competitors this year he deserved it.he makes us brits proud. A lot of people hate on d low as his confidence comes across as arrogance but instead of people posting how he's not the best or other people are better appreciate his talent he is so cutting edge.we all have our own favourites it doesn't mean the others are not good.im not biased as he's British as audical is a beast too. With upcoming talents like immortal and himo the future will be interesting.but haters stop hating and appreciate there talent skill and hard work and give them the respect they have earned
I think it's a bit harsh to say the lyrics of d low and b art are unintelligible cos in uk jungle and dnb especially 90s stuff there's a lot of that style of singing where it's more about the hype and the attack of the voice than the lyrics, also I really like the "clipped" vocal d low does in his build up, sounds random but again it's very genre styled and leads perfectly into the word "b-art"
Man, I don't know the purpose of this channel, but all the drops in this battle were sensational, and I feel like you critisise too much both artists, even with rounds that seem flawless, with few compliments, and it just makes the video turn out to be something that drags people down rather than to pull them up, you know? Sorry for such a long comment, and if someone disagrees/can explain why these videos are so "nitpickey" feel free to answer.
It does feel nit picky at times, even at times he reaches a bit too far to fill the videos up to make for “better content” but in the same token he does add a lot of fresh insights that I do appreciate
@@jewelalex7185 I did appreciate his thoughts on D-Low's rounds, he complimented what was great about it and presented what he didn't find that special about it. But he only talked trash about B-Art. He was superb on stage, and even with the problems his round had, Madox didn't leave one good thought on his stuff, and it just makes me feel bad...
Hes someone very experienced in this field and even if we feel its flawless hes bound to find mistakes. Its obvious and hes only criticizing, and critisism is something every artists get so if they get down from something like that then..... You get what i am trying to say right? And yes madox does help them understand the minor mistakes which happen and yea we might think he goes overboard but we cant say for sure because you see people comparing spencer to gbb class beatboxer and saying hes better and they think like that because they are not experienced in these and only saw "cool" tiktoks so we cant blame them
Thats the purpose of judging: compare both artists, find weaknesses and decide who is the winner. If it would just be musicians perform their music - whole different thing. But this is a battle.
@@Madoxbeatbox Hey, I had this reaction 'cause I thought this was gonna be one of those generic reacts, where someone just watches and smiles as it goes on lol Now that I've understood the idea behind these videos I binged every single one of these... Thanks for taking your time to answer me, I appreciate it man!
Referencing the "dont pick clear winners" comment. I, as a fan of beatbox who cant beatbox like at all, really like getting into the mind of what judges look for and how they go about grading. From composition to turning the feel from showcase to battle it's really interesting. Big ups madox. Love your work!
