I used to be friends with somebody like Megan. I had to listen how everybody was mean to her because she was too pretty, too good looking, that she was special, etc., etc. At first, I really believed her. Then one day we had a disagreement about something. I later found out she told other people that I was too jealous of her and envied how good she looked, etc. And that was the end of that relationship.

This is hilarious. Literally had me laughing so hard. His monotone, completely objective commentary of the ridiculous narcissism of this documentary is PERFECT.

Imagine having a family business for over 100 years and someone coming in and throwing a fit because they won’t change the business model or call them boss

You never disappoint. 😂👏🏼. One thing I realized w/ Meghan…..she’s never happy. Her first marriage, not happy, Deal or no Deal, not happy, being a princess, not happy, walking away from it, not happy.

I really have a hard time believing that someone who complains about every imaginary thing was ever pregnant and I'm speaking as someone who had four children and pregnancy is not a picnic. My last one i was 34 and I thought I was going to die. If she had 2 babies after 40 years old I feel sorry for her and anyone who was within 400 miles of her. She would still be crying with back pain,eg pain, boob pain, bottom pain and constant headaches if she had been pregnant once and she claims 3 times in as many years it would take an idiot to believe that.

I always feel that their residence is the peak of her jealousness. she comparing her place and harry with william and kate's and found out that it reflects the real condition that she and harry is less important than the main attraction, and is the last blow that she can cope with. It just sink in for her that royal family world is not the same with celebrity world. hence, she always says she never prepared for royal life , she never expected it would be like this , because she thought it would be just like celebrity work life where all get the same platform and chance to polish themselves to their best image and anyone who can succesfuly do that will get the better or best cake. In reality royal family is all about rank and duty. royal family has rank and position that must be respected and she just cant accept it because she wont be the main star for how much she tried. but also she failed to realize that royal's family previlage comes with a price of life duty. she failed to realize that with all the (more) luxury and lavish things for higher rank like queen & prince phillip, charles & camilla, will & kate get, that they also bound to much more duty and stricter discipline, and more eyes to judge and scrutinize them. Those are things that i would think that meghan would not even able to deal with or care too, even if she got the position. Those re the same reasons why queen and her first line of descendants are more serious, pressured, stricter than other royal family members. Those life duty is not the same as works of an influencer. It just kinda makes sense now. it was weird to hear and harry and meghan wants out right after they spend money and finished the renovation of frogmore cottage. She just not satisfied with its result even after the renovation. she cant take it that how much she tried , william and kate will always have the 'bigger and higher ceiling house'. and now she got what she wants it, a much bigger and luxurious house in montecito, being centre of attention (esp for clueless americans), and control to make her own narrative and position. me personally, if i were meghan , i would gladly accept it. knowing what i am into , i would be happy just following the others , helping what i can help, supporting as much as i can , without the same level as pressure and judgement like main attractions get. id make the best out of it and make my own unique position in that weird world. and id be happy to have the cottage lol even if it has low ceilings.

If I was an advisor to the royal family I would just tell them to try and get these 2 to do more interviews. The more they talk the more sympathetic the family looks.

My theory on Meghan comparing herself to Diana is that's how she manipulates Harry. She always hits that vulnerability of his to get her way and maybe it was more easy than she expected it to be so she went global with the tactic.

I put the first three episodes to have some background noise while mopping the floor, and I had never witnessed anything so cheesy since Mexican telenovelas. As for the second part, I couldn't keep going after the part where Meghan claimed a member of the crew of the flight she was in kneeled before her, took her hat, and thanked her for "everything she did for the United Kingdom". That was simply too much of a self-grandeur delusion for me to withstand.

I will never again wash a colander of rice without thinking of the brilliant sense of humor of Dr Grande. Thank you for your work!

I knew a this series would make for great Dr. Grande material. I love how the wildly hyperbolic adjectives describing the amazing, unbelievable, monumental and majestic pair were delivered with that perfect combination of deadpan tone and slightly quizzical facial expressions that make Dr. Grande's brand of humor so funny. It made for a winning and hilarious combination.

This is probably the most accurate analysis of how Meghan sees herself. She wants so bad for people to see her as the image she has in her mind. Meghan the good, the generous. I thought a while ago that she feels like she’s “the new Diana”. But she doesn’t have Diana’s heart, or her work ethic, or her genuine kindness and will to lift others up. Diana worked through her own pain and sorrow by diving into humanity, helping others, actually changing the world. Meghan had a few long days of touring and she starts planning a wild exit, attempting to burn the monarchy down and whining the whole way out. She truly is something else.

However, profiting of their story several times (an interview with Ophra, then this documentary), just speaks of people who lack values and need the money, IMO.

I love the sarcasm. I'm pretty sure the Royal family knew the meeting details would be leaked to the press, just as Harry did.

I’m an Australian and I have to say their tour was mainly attended by school kids and teenagers, in fact many of us here didn’t realise or care they came here, I remember calls going out to school teachers to drag the poor kids out to boost crowd numbers. The nightly news gave their visit about 20seconds of air time.

The next part of this story is the divorce, once she’s milked the situation she’ll dump him. The clip of Meghan saying a cabin crew member got on his knee, took his hat off and thanked her for her service , had to be the best piece of comedy this year, I literally laughed out loud, simply amazing self aggrandising! Her “service” 😂😂😂

They did get security while they were in Canada, paid by the Canadian Gov’t….as for paparazzi, folks I know in BC said their wish for privacy was respected. My fav scene in the whole doc, was when they got concerned that a man on a scooter was following them. That is the best comedic moment…while Harry scans the area with a look of deep concern. A guy on a Vespa is a big concern….

I live in South Africa and when they visited there was no "joy in the streets" that I keep hearing of from her 😂 no one cared. The "joy" she is talking about is that in some smaller communities its still very exciting for foreigners to visit. also by making visitors feel special they tend to spend more money if you are in touristy areas. We have famous people visit all the time and maybe 2 or 3 people get excited but the rest are just like "wow, they know south Africa exists? Cool!" and move on lol

For her to have a nanny, security guard, and her celebrity friends (probably don’t even see her much) as proof of her character is sad. I had a friend who was greatly narcissistic. The only person who admire her was her spouse (a lap dog to her) and she had no personal, close friends besides her husband’s friends who she never connected personally and were only “friends” because she is married to him. People like that have serious connection issues to people and reality.

Listening to based Dr. Grande is therapy for me. He is so chill and suave and his subtle humor is on point.

I appreciate your analysis of "Harry and Maghan". I understand she is trying to personify Princess Diana, yet you didn't make any comment to the effect it has on Harry and his actions. I think Harry is reliving his love for his mother (Unresolved grief and anger that the press killed her) onto Maghan. Projection at its highest level! I personally understand that they wanted to separate from the Royal family and live their own lives yet, this whole thing has been one big gossip tabloid. I find it sad. I hate to see where they will be in a year when the lights go out. I think they seemed happiest in Africa. I hope for the best for all the families.
