Your interpretation of the "veins of pitch black ink"-line and how it could work as a fuel (being directly transported to her heart) had me gagged - spot on 😫 Can't wait for the in-depth analysis of the album when it drops!! PS: A swordsmith is a maker of swords, so it is, in fact, a word - even if it has a different meaning 🤭

I’ve thought a lot about “tick tick tick of love bombs,” I’m curious if it’s less about the time and more about the feelings of anticipation suspended within it. As someone who’s received a lot of love bombing, from a narcissist ex, I’m familiar with a feeling that these words seem to be wrapped up in. The tick of a clock, in movies, is sometimes used to exaggerate or intensify the weight of a thing happening inside a suspended moment in time. Yes the ticks represent time passing but everything else about the scene feels like time is suspended and things are happening in slow motion. Sometimes that’s how it feels when you know a narcissist well enough to predict when love bombs are on their way… Just my two cents
