We should stop sending money overseas. However out of over 180 countries Australia is 12th in military spending. We spend enough on the military we just waste a lot of it. Where is all that money going.

The US will always have AUS's back, but given the leadership vacuum, consider developing a homegrown nuclear deterrent. It's the only way to be sure the bad guys leave you alone.

Why as an Aussie, would I join the Aust Defence Force, when I am constantly reminded by government and others that it is not my country? (Eg I often get “welcomed” to the dirt I was born to at offical events).

The ADF couldn't hold Bondi Beach for 7 days we lack so much of everything, people, fire-power, air support, ammunition ect ect ect. We do have plenty diversity and gender pamphlets, and plenty generals and high paid public servants!!!!

Although this may be wanted by Australian people to know what's going on with the military and tax dollars. But isn't this information making Australia vulnerable more by going public with it? Like letting the enemy know you're running out of ammo in a fire fight. It isnt going to do you any favours

My GG and his brother served in WW2, growing up I became familiar with his history and wanted to follow in his footsteps and have only just realised how broken and unprepared our defence force is. I’m honestly very sad to see that out current adf dictates its own legacy.

Exactly why Australia should stop poking the sleeping dragon our country would run out of fuel within 40 days of conflict we import oue fuel and when the south china sea is closed means an extra 5 weeks by sea to arrive if the ship doesn't get attacked on the way

People could be trained quickly, equipment cant be provided quickly. Both parties have failed. -Up the pay rates. -Include education. -Deal with long service pensions. -Bettet healthcare and veteran services. -Dobt shove people in isolated areas, no one likes nit having services and amenities

We could make the adversaries coffees. But I think that might not happen with cafes closing down. Maybe all the road works and the lollipop people could hold them up.
