I started my redbubble last year in December and made my first sale by the end of the month (trending design) and so far I've sold 20 products and made $25 (which I absolutely didn't expect, I would) so anyone who's reading this and struggling with getting some sales, please keep going..keep creating even when you see no sales. Wow, i'm so impressed on the effort you put in this video. Thank you for sharing your experience. I've been in RB since 2 months ago and my first month i earned $38. And surprisingly we did the same technique and ways to do things. Here's the exciting part. If you will keep doing this kind of ways, more earnings will come. Specially in the 4TH quarter october to December. It is like you're getting sales everyday coz everyone will buy things that can be gifted by people due to holidays and occasions. 100 designs ?! Oh that's going to take me forever. I'm a graphic illustrator who focuses on creating detailed quality vector designs. These are always long projects that I start completely from scratch, and they usually take me anywhere from 6 hours to a couple days to complete. I might need to try and make more simple illustrations to thrive in this business lol.

Love your comment on the lottery. I share that feeling. Thank you for making videos with a small starting out example. Lots of tutorials boast thousands of dollars of revenue and that is difficult to relate to. Are you designs aiming a particular age group or geographic area?

@@PassiveMarie actually only 13 so far. I know I need to put in some more effort to fill my shop with 100 designs etc, but zero traffic! I have used pinterest to promote my Etsy shop so will do the same for RB I think.

Yes Pinterest is also a good source for organic traffic :) Also make sure to put up enough designs consisting of different niches so you will know what sells. Good luck!

Hi Marie - You mentioned the 100 designs being essential to determine what sells. My question - is it individual designs or are you possibly placing one design onto a t-shirt and a magnet and a face mask. Effectively one design BUT three different products. Could you clarify?

I was thinking.. if we make trending designs it means that these designs will not be trending after a year. So..di you think evergreen designs are better for long term? Because my wish is to create passive income. If I create only trending designs than is not passive income anymore. Or the strategy would be to have some first sales with trending designs and then create more evergreen designs and with the snowball effect it will generate passive income in the future? Do you think that with 2000 evergreen designs can be created passive income?

I have one question the 1st 100 design that everybody says should be on your store on RB but then while uploading those design de we need to write the tags and tiles 100% accurate with research the design we are going to upload or just upload 100 design with normal average tile and tags .. cause design 100 design is one thing and uploading them with accurate research titles and tags is a whole other 😭😭😭😭... And what do u recommend and what did you do... Anyone reading this comment feel free to reply...

Epic video! Marie how do you design quality designs in 35 minutes and quantity in 5?! I'm new to redbubble and currently vetting designers. The common theme is that most of the concepts I give them take 2-3 hours to make an original illustration. This turns out to be expensive per design. Thank you.

Pinterest is easy make 2 pin for 1 product ( first pin with kewoyrds for description and tags général for your niche and design / pin 2 the same product with description and spécifique tags for your niche and design) with this stratégie i have 15k in andience traffic Thanks for vidéo and good luck

Hello! I focus on trending designs that has over 0-250 results because they are all going to oversaturated in the future eventually...I make around 3 different designs of the trending niche. Hope this helps!

Hello Sabrina! I really appreciate you for watching all my videos :) Yes I enjoy making content that are structured and well organized for I want you guys to have the best quality content there is. I apologize for keeping my personal RB shop private for I try to avoid my designs being stolen or I might get trolled with report take downs of my designs as what happened to some of my friends, so i decided to keep it this way. I hope you understand :) However, I am definitely going to upload a video soon about my designing process and where to get the designs!

Awesome! I have been thinking how i am going to start this pod bussiness for 2 months and after watching a lot of pod videos i think i know how to do it, but its scary. I will be uploading my firsts designs soon and its really good to see others sharing their journeys. I have a question: when you say 5 designs per day, are they completly different or do you modify some words and chang the color pallete to fit different niches sing the same design/illustration? I am afraid to not be able to do as much as you, and i know is important to upload everyday. Btw, i was shock seeing that the majority of the visitors came from organic. Can you know if people that actually ends buying came also from organic or redbubble doesnt give you that information? It would be really interesting, because sometimes a lot of people can end in your product just for curiosity, but maybe just people that finds your design in redbubble buys more because they go to that website with "buying" mindset. Hi! Yes, there are some designs where I just change the color which hastens the process of putting out different versions of a single design whereas I also made other designs that takes time :) And also yes, my formula for designing is to replicate the design and switch it to a different niche, and modify some words or colors. I was surprised too about my organic traffic, however RB does not have a feature where it can track which portion of the traffic purchased something in your shop. However, there was a time an individual favorited something from my shop then I got a sale from the same day. I also think how I inputted my tags and description plus Pinterest promotion really helped me get organic traffic. Hope this helps and Good luck to you!!!

I've done all these things, been on the platform since January, have over 200 designs, and still have not made a single sale.

Hello! I know that not getting sales would be frustrating considering you have already put up 200 designs. Every persons POD is different, what I would recommend for you is to follow Detour Shirts' advice which is to give yourself 6 months in order to evaluate your shop. If you are still not getting sales until July, this is where you should would be worried and reflect upon what could be missing in your shop. I also recommend you do a lot of different niches and designs and research. Be patient and trust th process!
