Suggestion: you should revisit Kurt Cobain, but look at some writings samples from earlier in his life, since his journals from roughly 1987-1988 until his death have been published
I'm watching a documentary about H.H. Holmes right now, and saw a piece of evidence with his handwriting on it. He is known as America's first serial killer so it'd be interesting to see you do an analysis on his writing!
Back again after multiple months, and it really makes me think on my own writing. I feel like I can't judge my writing to these standards, because I grew up taking basically unofficial writing lessons from my grandparents, who were both high up academics at the time, and had a certain amount of pressure to write "correctly", as well as being marked on it. Also, in terms of "zones", I used to practice on specific paper that included the dotted third lines, so making sure my letters always took up the right amount of area and place in the zones was important, and is probably something that wouldn't provide an accurate representation of me when analysed. Still very interesting, and I think the most applicable to me would be staying aware of my t-bars and loops, but my style would also switch and depend on whether I am printing or using cursive script.
Hey Leah! I'm curious what you think about t bars in lefties. I've noticed that on days that I'm feeling good, my t bars are flat but on days that I'm struggling they slant up from a reading perspective but are actually being drawn downwards since I'm going in reverse. Just curious if there's actually anything to lefties having some reversed traits or if it's me specific haha
Okay question! I practise calligraphy so over the past couple years I have basically trained my handwriting to be like copperplate in cursive. Would my handwriting be analysable if I spent hours changing it and practising it? How would that work!?
It would be interesting for you to look at your own handwriting. Since you know a lot about graphology I’m wondering if you’d be more conscious of your writing and therefore would mimic traits that you want to see in yourself/want to work on, if that makes sense? Especially if you’re able to find examples of your own writing from different times. Basically I want to know if you’d say your handwriting matches you as well as others’ matches them
I do know that since ive been studying graphology I have changed traits in my writing! I did do a vid a bit ago where I analyzed my own writing from old notebooks from before I knew anything about handwriting analysis which was very very interesting, also a tricky balance trying to stay unbiased

2019 I never felt like I belonged, and I had extremely low confidence. My hand writing was microscopic and very light. 2020 I was depressed and confused. I had a lot of anger. My hand writing was bigger but kept to the lower line than the upper. It was slightly slanted backwards and sharper. Late 2021 my hand writing filled the lines completely and slanted slightly forwards and I was a lot more confident. More confident than ever.
Hello Leah, I was wondering, does the trauma indicating backward slant work the same with left handed people as well? I can remember from my elementary school that one of my left handed classmates had this vivid back slant, and since then I assumed that it's something generic and common for left handed people, because of the left hand right. But later in life I known another left handed person, but he had neither backward or forward slant. So I wondered if the left hand actually has that influence on person's slant. I wanted to ask what your stance was on people that consider this to basically be pseudo science? Regardless of if it's real or not, I think its still a fun way to analyze and find patterns.
this is an excellent question hahah I just think to myself- you know Leah- people might think this stuff is "fake" or "pseudo science" but a lot of the inferences/deductions that I make aren't really that far fetched; most of the time they're actually pretty straight forward and have alot to do with the brain, muscles and the nervous system interacting with the world. handwriting is a complex motor task that we do to communicate with others, but that action comes from the brain and there are a lot of subconscious, mental, physical and mechanical things that affect handwriting and to say that analyzing that would tell us nothing- just doesn't make sense to me

So, there's this guy I know who had been paralyzed from neck down for a time. He now can walk and such, however the mobility in his hands has lessened a lot. His handwriting is now wobbly and messy due to this. Could there be differences in how you would look at his handwriting knowing about his disability?
I've noticed that several authors seem to have strong forward slanting handwriting. So, it's not just serial killers, sometimes the person wants to cross a philosophical or emotional boundary in order to show you something, or to share their ideas with you. Authors want to get into your head.

I have this weird thing going on with my f's where they're just really inconsistent in how i write them?? like i'll write it the same way but say in "find" and "following" they look different for some reason lmao. I've never heard much about f's being important for anything though but I thought I'd ask anyways

Now I'm almost convinced that handwriting analysis is as legitimate as palm reading. Also, it doesn't really work if the person knows that their handwriting will be analyzed, with some basic knowledge of the traits Just saying
The t-line still confuse me. I just draw them where the pen is most efficiently going to the next letter. In general, that means at the top of the second zone. How are people able to place them so much higher or lower? 😅 Also: lefties have a natural back slent, whenever they don't tilt the paper. That's just how the hand is moving, isn't it?
does it mean anything when the cross thing on a capital H is off to the left? or like incompleted if that makes sense. like if its too far back and doesnt go all the way across to the right line bar thing

Best part, I noticed it first, and mostly during my Algebra class. And, to put it nicely. Not the biggest fan of my Algebra teacher. I LOVE math. But not her. And she thinks I HATE, math. You should do some mental illness spisific videos. U did one a while back but i cant remember what it was. DID i think?. Im spisificly thinking mood disorders like BPD or BIPOLAR. Or pycotic disorders. Like psychosis or schizophrenia. Ones that most wold say fall in the more debilitating area. I wold know. BPD is a bitch
It's qualify, not quantify. QUANTify relates to QUANTity, and QUALify relates to QUALity. This is unless you're quantifying or counting up all their traits rather than making an assessment of it.
