Analyzing Terrain in Global Mapper 

In several previous webinars and webcasts, we discussed Global Mapper’s LiDAR processing capabilities, from point cloud editing to feature extraction. The 3D modeling and analysis functionality has been a major development focus over recent years and for many users, the utilization of the z-value is the most important facet of the application. As a commodity, the most common application for LiDAR is in the generation of a ground or terrain model.
