Every time I watch Fight Club, I pickup something different. This time the narrator's haiku poem caught my eye. In this video, I analyze the poem and explain it's relevance to the film. Enjoy! Help me make this a full time job! If you've been enjoying my content, support me on Patreon: / bizarrebreakdowns

50 years will go by and I will continue to learn new things from the fight club, in only 2 hours and 13 minutes they explain to you, everything that life is about.

that's a good point to bring to people's attention - everytime i reread a book or listen to audiobook i always get a little something extra than all the other times i consumed said media

Indeed. Some books/movies are worth watching two, three, four times. Fight Club is one of those

You say "our interest" like many people who talk about the anti-corp movement. But what is "our interest" do we Europeans, share the same interests as the Americans? Do Spanish people have the same interests as the French? Even Spain itself, do people from the North share the same interests as the South? There is no common thought or mind. Your essays are really interesting and well said, but the ideology of Fight Club as well as many other movies like it, is flawed. Not saying that I'm in favor of corps, I am not and at the end of the day, they are the ones pulling the strings. But let's not forget how Fight Club is not as serious as it seems, and Fincher did it as a comedy, same as Palahniuk

We all want to be happy, be ourselves, that's all corporates prevent us from achieving them, so we must abolish capitalism

Maybe that's why The Narrator gets so distressed when he sees project mayhem followers just listening to orders like drones and slaves. Like the Union got out of hand because they unionized to escape the system, take their bosses as slaves and power into their own hands, only to lose it doing domestic terrorism. Really upsetting when you realize how freaked out The Narrator must've been with his collapsing sense of reality and that piled on top.

Fight Club is the greatest movie ever and one of the best pieces of fiction So much meaning in this movie and small details and every of them makes sense and some of them can be interpreted in some ways and every way is logical This movie is too peak to be real
