So glad you liked this game (despite the spiders!). Worth mentioning it plays really well at 2 as well, it's me and my wife's fave game for a couple. Totally agree re the 2-4-7 silliness. One small thing re the rules: only one player may take followers and the lead player may not both of which make for interesting choices. Do I take followers just to stop you doing it etc.
Another incredible crossover. I really like the bid as you go aspect of this one. I can see agonizing over whether to play to the trick or to get another follower.
Two things: 1. Your alteration of the logo to say "ttt" is excellent. 2. You forgot to talk super fast and/or speed the audio up to 1.10x or 1.25x speed!
I just got this one on your review and I actually really enjoyed the differing scoring between rounds. While I get what you mean about it feeling a bit unfair if you did really well in round one, for me it felt more as if the game was changing. Round one was more about just getting a lot of tricks, as you'll score more points that way, where round three was all about hitting that bid, which everyone was trying to do! Great review as always, definitely want to play more!!
Wow, I absolutely LOVE this point of view, MinatoAri!! Thanks so much!! That's an amazing point about how those hands are just inherently different. Cheers for opening my perspective on this! 😁🙌
What about with the 2-4-7, in order to get it you needed to both exactly hit your bid, and also, get at least that number of tricks in the round? Getting the 2 and the 4 would be challenging but possible, but the 7 would be almost impossible (but game-changing if you got it)?
