@@mariotheundyingI feel like if order won, it'd be something like everyone uniting in a way instead of the edgy kind of order (?) excuse my poor english by the way
@@flapjak_stax I wouldn't say edgy tbh, just that there's *too* much order, which means dictatorship and very strict laws with no freedom to make sure everything is in order, chaos already is about uniting (cultures uniting, many people express their culture and share it with others and bond, the idols are representing this, Shiver has Japanese culture, Frye has Indian culture and Big Man has Brazilian culture) chaos tbh fits Splatoon more, Splatoon 3 really is the sequel to Splatoon 1 in terms of vibes
It's really interesting reading the potential order ending on Wiki. Marina states that the world she wants to build is one where people can accept each other's differences, so in a sense we got that here as well! It'll always be kind of a mystery what splatoon 3 would be if order won, but it's nice to see expressive freedom be a theme of both.
Yeah i diid too, my theory is that because chaos won, splatoon 3 is kinda appolyptic? If order won it would probably have been some ultra modern megapolis
@@hokusai41275 the result of the last splatfest affects the next game. In Splatoon, the last splatfest was Callie vs Marie, and Marie won. Look at what happened in Splatoon 2 story mode.
you know what would be a cool splatfest theme? have each splatoon game be a team, and have people pick their favorite game in the series, and then during the splatfest battles have music from the entire series playing!
That's probably going to be the Final Fest for this game. All three idol bands will participate, just like in the last one. Phase 1 will have Squid Sisters songs, Phase 2 is Off the Hook, and the Final Phase is Deep Cut with whatever special songs they'll have.
I think instead of voting for the best game vote for the best idols cause Splatoon 3 is just objectively the first 2 but way improved. Opinions between Deep Cut, Squid Sisters, and Off the Hook would be cool tho. Only downside I guess is that off the hook doesn’t have any representation in 3 so newcomers wouldn’t understand why they’re the best…
The squid sisters are an absolute bob and the nostalgia factor is insane Off the hook was also really damn good But deep cut just doesn't hold back any shots they can take
0:46 I get a blast of nostalgia for some reason and this part is just amazing honestly. All the voices, brass, trumpets coming together to make one voice.
This song honestly hits different, I love how nintendo mixed world music to create this song, such as the Japanese, Brazilian, and Indian influence. Oh and the drop at 47 seconds is like a trip to Rio de Janeiro.
0:47 I love big man but i love even more that they made him like the tenor singer in his group, the song so amazing here with him getting those lower notes and adding nicely to those cords, he really makes the song sound so much better, i love it
3 nations, singing together in a festival like setting, Nintendo did a good job with Splatoon 3, in terms of this vision of a Splatfest, after all, we are all from different countries playing this series, some of us, since the first game
@@STEPZERO0 That was referring to the story mode, implying it's the end of the "Octarian Saga" I guess you could say. I'd be shocked if this was the last Splatoon game ever because Nintendo likes money
This song above all other splatfest songs really brings a sense of comradery to me. Like there’s no bad blood, no drama, no hate. Just everyone being friends.
I joined the Splatoon community about 4 weeks ago opening day of Splatoon 3, and after listening to them I realized how different this song sounds from the other idols Main themes. I like it 😌. Its very good. Brazil is shedding a tear. And so am I.
Man. Once I first heard this song in the Splat3 Direct, I knew this will be my favorite song in the game. And little did I know, I was correct. A mix of Japanese and Brazilian styled music sounds really unique and cultural. Also, this song itself is really addictive and the part at 0:47 is a cherry on the top. Really great banger of a soundtrack!
When Big Man and Frye's part come on, I can't help but dance and start singing. Especially with the *clap* *clap* before Frye's part. That part gives me goosebumps every time. 0:29.
Honestly I'm not a huge fan of Splatoon but when I played the demo of this game with a few friends, this soundtrack is a good way to start the game ngl
God! I remember going into the first splatfest in the world premiere with my friend and hearing this, I loved all the festivities and the way it felt like an actual party. Me and her couldn't stop gushing
When I first heard this in the Direct I was a bit skeptical of a song like this in Splatoon. Now I realize that was dumb. This caputres the spirit of Splatfests perfectly
Splatoon 1: Calamari Inkantation Me: "Such great music! I hope they will improve even more in future but the bar is set really high." Splatoon 2: Ebb and Flow Me: "They did it! It's somehow even better then in the first game. I don't think they can improve even more." Splatoon 3: Blows my mind with Anarchy Rainbow like a boss. Me: Unable to handle the greatness of the soundtrack.
I like how everyone is vibin in Splatsville while inkopolis plaza starts becoming kinda dead, people are still vibin there but not as many as before (until the sisters come back) then the square is quite literally dead with no sign of flourishing life at all
Yeah man! This is a party, this is the splatfest! This feels like that! Man, they continue making nice music for this series, one of the main reasons why I became interested in this game.
AH- I was nOt wrong, apparently when it became a trend people were calling it the “ghost dance” I’m remembering the same sound from a minus8 pac man animation. Wonder if it has other significance tho..
lyrics i wrote for fun! shiver: in the bright black of night, i can feel the pressure rising deep inside of me big man: (chaos, freedom, it's all the same) shiver: and i can't seem to keep my feet steady on the ground anymore big man: (come on, raise your voice! come on, raise the noise!) frye: you and i, alone can turn this heat up you and i, right now, that feeling lives in us it's your night to fly and i'll hold you tight so don't be scared, and come, jump with me! chorus x2: when the hue of a thousand rainbows sends the wings of the dark aflight then the rhythm of deep blue heaven will strike a fire in your heart tonight! (refrain) shiver & frye: it's sweet anarchy, now or never verse 2 (shiver): in that dark moonlit night, it's the crowd that carries rhythm like a tidal wave big man: (chaos, freedom, it's all the same) and i want you to know that it's moving me on its own big man: (come on, raise the noise! come on, it's your voice!) frye: you and i, can fly and take the first leap you can't hide your heart so it's no use to cry it's your night to shine and let that fear die so just take a deep breath and jump with me! chorus: when the hue of a thousand rainbows sends the wings of the dark aflight then the rhythm of deep blue heaven will strike a fire in your heart tonight when the pressure of daily living has your happiness coiled up tight let the color and sound of music envelop you in its light! (refrain) shiver & frye: this anarchy, it's a fever!
