I love how big man canonically wrote this in one go. Now I'm just imagining him downing an entire 6 pack can of red bull at 4am and furiously clicking away in his editing software with a screeching **AY**
as much as i really want this, it probably would never happen considering the lore and how that funky little fax machine works unless they (the developers) mess around with how the lore works and makes it possible
It just has this hyping effect to it and it makes my hands clench up around the controller and my focus gets REALLY tight, and I play WAY better than usual!
Since triple choice festivals are in, they should make it so that sometimes, it's the 3 idol groups VS each other as choices like deep cut being a choice, and the other 2 being another choice
@@MadWeegee It really is lol! Was doing some with my fiancé, she was playing Nzap, I was Undercover Brella. Right as that part came up, we were on the enemy’s side and a couple were starting to come down. So I said “Get behind me!” and just started goin. And man it was so awesome to actually take them down with that part going, all like that lol
This honestly has gone straight past fly octo fly, calamari inkantation, splattack and all the other songs in my favourite splatoon song list it just has such great energy, and the duality of the notes really makes it nice
I don’t know why but I can kind of see someone do a video of the guy dressed as Hatsune Miku dancing to this. By the way, from that World’s end Dancehall video rocketman remix.
My theory is that Big Man is supposed to be a hype man, considering he doesn't have many singing roles and is a man of few words (hence the "ay" stuff)
Shiver is my favorite idol ever. I love her Enka style so much, it's so beautiful. The way her voice fluctuates in pitch is incredible. As a note, Enka is supposed to be sentimental and emotional, so a pun on the phrase "Till death do us part" is really fitting.

They have to play this for the next live one. I think Splat 2's music is overall better than 3, but 3 has some bangers that the live band headscratchingly left out
Yep... this is easily my favorite splatfest battle theme. I can't stop listening to this. The team did such an amazing job with this game's OST. Now it feels wrong when I don't play this at least once every day lmao
My first splatfest experience was with the Pokemon collab grass/fire/water starter partner. Heard this on most of the matches and hecking LOVED it. So glad to know the title so I can blast it at all opportunities until my family gets sick of it.
this morning in my college history class, one of the students and the professor started arguing for like 1 minute and then her and her friend just left class. my professor paused for like 15 seconds and then just said "would anyone else like to leave" and someone's alarm on the phone wall went off immediately after, playing this song of all things and I was trying so hard to just not burst out laughing
When you have 2 evenly matched teams & everyone's making heroic plays, and then the chorus to this song drops, it's amazing. It takes the whole experience to a different level
I feel like I always get splatted around this time (0:45 ) and then respawn at the part that everyone agrees is perfection (0:53) which is a great way to come back tbh
Got Splatoon 3 last week and I'M IN LOVE WITH DEEP CUT!! And not just their music either, but both Shiver and Frye's vibe, personality and style are fucking perfect! Coming from someone that had only played the first game I thought for sure nothing would be able to top the Squid Sisters, but goddamn was I wrong! The only 2 things I'm really waiting for right now is until Splatoon 3 Switch icons reappear, and the other is the next Splatfest, which will also be my first Splatfest ever since I got the game on the 14th, 1 day after the last one ended -_-
this songs beat goes so hard i said during the premiere that if they didnt have squid beatz in this game (they dont as of writing :() that id learn how to map .tja files (the format taiko (the game squid beatz is based off) uses) JUST FOR THIS SONG ig i need to actually do that now
I can see what you mean, but I will always hear “You know “Got every song now” “You know” “I really have it now” “Yeah I know” “You’re going down now” “Try not to think hard on it”
fanmade lyrics I wrote 🤩 Can you take a minute, to go and sit down? Can you take a minute to see what the deal is? It'll take a minute to see what's going on But in just a minute, you'll see who runs this town Old news, dull crews, all come and try to seize number one But I know there's no competition All set Won't slow it down till I drop dead So call me "Hurricane Go Ahead" I'll shout it out so I know you'll never forget! Get up, get up, and outta the way, cause we're up, we're up, we're up, up to the stage now All up on the front page now You'll never ever touch us Get up, get up, and outta the way, cause we're up, we're up, we're up, up to the stage now All up on the front page now You'll never touch these superstars
@@Yozhi2 I imagine it's one of those nights where you can't sleep, find some vocal lyrics from the two and say, I can make this into something nice. I imagine Shiver waking up to Big Man still on the computer asleep so she puts it away. Then Frye asks about the music file and they hear this. "This..." Shiver says with an incredulous look on her face, she can't believe what she's hearing. Frye jumps up and punches the air, "...is amazing!!!"
