Man, I remember this game. I actually got pretty good with Douglas and Durga. I wouldn't mind seeing this make a return, either on modern consoles or Steam. Imagine playing this on the switch, wouldn't that be a treat?
They can incorporate the quick-time events from Vanquish in as actual special attacks in this game for Sam's moveset. Stuff like his drill attack, his relentless punching melee burst, have him boostslide and kick off an enemy followed by a barrage of shots, etc. It could work, and I hope they make it so.
Being a part of this game brings the occupational hazards of being sliced, diced, chainsawed, burnt, stabbed, zapped, shot, and being beaten up a LOT, whether or not you're male, female, robotic, insane, Russian, mutant, or even a ball.
Honestly have no idea how all this time the only thing I knew about this game was some of the soundtrack and I didn’t even know what the name of the game was at that point. Seems pretty nice!
well, they are the same thing in a way. Douglas uses a dual "pile bunker", pretty much a large spike which uses an explosive charge to drive it into an opponent. Big O uses a "mass bunker" which uses an explosive charge to drive whatever is in front of it, in this case a 20 ton fist, into an opponent.
Big Bull is my favorite character for Death Ball. His running hard attack knocks down anyone in the area AND takes the ball from the person who has it if they're hit by it. To my knowledge no one else can do that. Some can knock the ball loose and end up with it if they're lucky, but Big Bull seems to be the only one who can out right steal it, plus it knocks everyone around down so it gives him more time to run for the goal. He's way too slow of a fighter in any other modes though.
Pretty much. Storyline's in a whole new continuity, but it plays about the same (with new features) and features several returning MadWorld characters. Also, the hip-hop soundtrack is back, complete with artists from MadWorld's soundtrack.
You have to beat the game starting off as both characters. It takes a long time, but I think he's worth it. He's my favorite character next to Fei Rin.
If there were more DLC Madworld characters that would be great but I doubt it will happen. If I could have one guest character make it in as DLC. It would be Travis Touchdown, now that would be insane.
I don't mean play it, the first time through all the way. It's more complicated than that. It's hard to explain. First you pick Jack, and go through the whole game (even the part where it makes you switch to Leo). You beat the game. THEN you play the game again, starting from the very beginning, and this time play as Leo, and go through the whole game (een the part where it makes you switch to Leo). So...technically you have to play the game four times.
I'm like the only person who never even heard about the game before I bought it. I was bored, stopped into Game Stop saw it, and passed it over at first. Outside of Mad World I've not played any other game supposedly represented in this game so I didn't even know what it was. I didn't find anything else I wanted, and just grabbed it because I didn't want to go home empty handed and only LATER found out that it was this super hyped up game. I like it, but would absolutely NEVER play it online.
I beat it took me about a day and a half, but I don't have him. Is there something I'm missing like completing all side challenges or do I have to beat it on hard diff.
I mean when it makes you switch to Jack* the second time, not Leo again. Basically it's like Jack to Leo, then Leo to Jack...it's hard to explain. Difficulty doesn't matter. I did it on Easy just to get it over with quick, and you don't have to do all the challenges, there were some I intentionally skipped because I didn't know what to do in them.
Start the game on black side, complete it all. Then start a new game and start with white side and complete it all. Any difficulty, then you unlock him
