BEFORE YOU ASK! The reason why the Russian dub (as well as probably other languages) are missing from this video is because I only used the versions available to me through Disney+. I neither have the time nor motivation to find all the dubs that might be missing from there, but feel free to make your own multilanguage video if you'd like. I won't mind.
Because Großmutter would be Hochdeutsch and for the German it would be to formell And Anastasia is not definitely the one who speaks Oxford English That’s why Großmama It is on of the Dialekts
@@Aerdnaa89 that's literally just kids forcing changed gender on everything. It hurts because this is from the inconicalized old hollywood voice of a few women notable Betti Davis and the sophisticated Tallulah Bankhead.
@@TheBlackSquirrel as a russian, Disney stopped airing on russian television. instead we got "solnce" which translates as sun. almost everyone misses disney
funny is that in French(Canada), Hungary, Dutch, Polish, Japanese, Flemish, and Korea they sound more woman with a lot of sex-appeal. While the others just follow the original dub in a most funny way as possible.
Can we take a moment to realize that all the non English voice actors pronounce Anastasia’s name closer to its Russian pronunciation as opposed to its anglicized version?
it's because english is a really weird language... why the hell do you pronounce the S in anastasia like that? ana-stage-a or something... when it would make more sense to be ana-stay-zia (because ana-stah-zia would probably be asking too much)
@@Pao-vo8mf people say "ana-stah-sia" all the time in English? have you ever heard people say a brand like "Anastasia Beverly Hills"? Or are you basing your entire perspective off of a kids movie from the 90s?
So the fact that a lot of these used male voice actors seems to imply that either these dubs made her a drag queen or that her smoking habits have gone up to Dr. Girlfriend levels LOL
At least in latin america, they made them use the Z sound instead of the S sound, which is something a stereotypical fem gay would do. And I guess the other languages did the equivalent accent.
всегда пародировала этот момент когда приходила в детстве к бабуле, только на русском , да меня правда зовут анастасия и мне очень нравилась эта девушка
00:33 "Grossmama! Ich bin Anastasia!" Me: That's hilarious and cannot be beaten! XD 1:31 "*sex-stön* GRÖTMAMMA!" Me: *spits out every beverage imaginable* This was quite the journey, BUT IT WAS FUCKING GLORIOUS! Great job! X'D
Cantonese is so funny to mean, the tone reminds me of those deep voice smoking rich unmarried probably in their mid 30s aunt visiting their old grandma idk if that make sense but I hope it do
Thanks! It's always great to hear my native language in videos like this, even though I have not seen this film yet so I don't understand why is that the the Italian version sounds like a drunk drag queen, the Dutch is like a woman who is doing things right now that should not be discussed in a children's cartoon and I don't understand why did the Norwegian start with a Darth Vader imitation attempt. But I'm surely gonna watch it soon, there must be a reason why so many people like it. Update: I watched it and now I get it, I wish it wasn't such a short part of the film.
Kinda interesting that the Latin American Spanish and the Portuguese dubs just reuse the grunt/moan from the English dub. I wonder if the VA's had difficulty making that kind of sound? The Norwegian grunt was the funniest to me, and the Romanian dub made me laugh purely for how low-effort it was 😂
That happens frequently with latin american dubs, its mostly to save time, but also a character choice. For example, in The Dark Knight latino dub, Joker's laughs are still Heath Ledger
@@milosixx2458 I'm pretty sure the Latin American actor did do the laugh himself, I remember watching a compilation and he was one of the few actors who redid the laugh, but I might be misremembering.
It's just one of those things that doesn't necessarily NEEDS to be voiced over unless the voice they go for is different to the point it's noticeable, but doing these kinda grunt things also helps getting into the performance, it depends on what they decide to do at the moment.
OKAY THANK YOU, I am a dutchie and I was really wondering if this was the same thing. I am annoyed that Anastasia is dubbed by different actresses in those versions…… Because…. THE DUTCH VA IS A FLEMISH WOMAN.
In English, it's a female voice (or at least it sounds like it), but all the other languages went with a male voice, which makes it freaking hilarious.
The dutch one nearly killed me 😂 It's especially funny as a German how similar it sounds but slightly "wrong". Do the dutch feel the same when hearing German? Do we sound funny to you?
