Hey I had my muscle exam today and got 95%. Seriously, it is because of your video lectures on RU-vid that have helped me so much. You are an awesome teacher/lecturer
you are one of the best professor that I came across who explains things really clearly. I feel like anybody who is lucky enough to take your class should not take you for granted. Professors like you are so rare to find. God bless you
Omg, you have the gift of teaching. Your style of teaching is very effective; clear and straight to the point, the tone of your voice, including the steps and the small details, patiently explaining everything. Science and math are the two hardest subjects and we need teachers who can teach them well. I have had experienced professors with PHDs and multiple degrees who are geniuses, but can't teach at all, and that is when students failed. Reading from a book doesn't help(especially if students are visual learner), they need that extra help from teachers to explain hard and confusing topic/concepts. I'm so glad there is youtube and I'm glad I found this video. I'm going to check out your other videos. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much! I sincerely appreciate your feedback. Tremendously! I value the time it took for you to write! I agree with your assessment of teaching styles and how difficult science and math can be. I too believe that some professors just make it SO MUCH HARDER than it has to be. So frustrating! I am so glad you found this channel too and I am honored to have you using it! Best wishes!
I really like how you show the picture first, explain, and then go over the power point slide. I'm a visual learner and you make me understand it very well. I also like how you repeat things. It helps for it to sink in. Thank you!
Just finished the whole lecture and I learned so much. As a runner, I'd like to add one thing about aerobic and anaerobic exercise. Aerobic exercise is when there is enough oxygen to keep up with the activity. You can tell when your are working out aerobically when you can talk during a workout or jog. Anaerobic exercise can be when you either workout for a short period without breathing, or when you're working so hard that the exercise uses more oxygen than you are breathing in (oxygen debt). You will know that you are "going anaerobic," when you can no longer talk while working out, and you feel lactic acid building up which is causing you to break down or have muscle failure (that feeling of your arms and legs getting heavier and heavier while running). Aerobic exercise is necessary to build heart and lung capacity (endurance), and anaerobic is good (sparingly) to build speed and your body's ability to break down lactic acid so that you can go fast for longer.
Hello! I just wanted to reach out, I need to praise you. I'm doing applied A & P, ONLINE, with no lab. We are using pearson. This is TRULY been a blessing, a fellow student had reached out to me to check you out. I'm averaging out to a B student! Doing this course online, using the same book- THANK GOD! Even doing this class online we get to use notes and books and I'm STILL ONLY a B! I feel like i should be at least an A but this course is not just an easy A, it truly is dedication. Although this class is SO interesting to know how our body works. A TRILLION cells all functions and working trouble, with no sleep, consistently working to keep us an alive organism. It TRULY is a god damn miracle.. Thank you so much for putting all this very interesting course online. Your my saving grace. I feel so bad for the people in the world that have no idea how our body works.
Shauna! I laughed out loud reading this! You couldn't be more RIGHT! It is a miracle and so awesome! It is a tough class for sure but it sounds like you are killing it! I am so proud for you! I am so honored to have your feedback. I appreciate you so much!

I took anatomy at Emory University, had a great professor, and still received a C. Three years later, I took anatomy at Ceorgia State and have now scored 100+ on both exams I have taken. Thanks so much for your help! Pediatric Nurse, here I come.
This video is AWESOME! I wish you could be my Instructor. I sat through 3 hrs. of lecture on this, but only understood it after seeing your lecture. Keep em' coming!
Thank you for posting these videos! I am an A&P I student and these are very helpful. You are so organized and clear, it is a pleasure to learn from you.
Thank you so much! If it was not for your wonderful knowledge with a beautiful way of presenting and teaching I would be lost. I have learned so much from your videos and found it as a lifeline, considering my teacher does not explain really well. These videos have been extremely helpful.
HI Courtney! Wow! Thank you so much! That means so much! If I can help further or answer any questions in your studies please feel free to email at anatomygmc@yahoo.com. I also have just published a study guide for students called "Making Anatomy and Physiology Easy by Tiffany Shepley James" It has an electronic version and a paperback if you need supplemental help. Available on Amazon. It's the easiest way for me to help those far away!
Just wanted to say thank you! My professor went over all of this in class but as it's an accelerated summer class it was quick and not very clear, this is an excellent explanation! I just aced both quizzes on the subject and hopefully the upcoming exam!
Wow. My teacher just blasts through material and leaves me feeling overwhelmed every class. You actually take the time to make sure your students understand every component. Great job.
I truly wish I had you as my professor... you're doing the job my professor can't do and I am forever grateful, stuff like this is truly life changing. I wish you and your family nothing but the best.
Thank you so much for posting the videos! They are such a help to me. I play it over and over on loud speaker as I cook for my family, do chores and I draw out the pictures to further embed my understanding.Great job!
You are great, I wish all teachers explained as clear as you do, I have been struggling with this class so much but I'm glad I found your channel now, thank uu soo much ! :)
Amazing. You are such a good teacher. The fact that you repeat the important words make it easy for me to highlight what needs to be understood. I always wanted to refer to my clients and students a simple course to explain a quite complicated process like muscle contraction is. I have shared this link as much as i could. Many of my students or clients are foreigner and vocabulary of the biology is hard to relearn the visual make it easy. Thanks
OMG thank you!! After studying this chapter for days and after watching my 3rd video on this topic, today I FINALLY understand this chapter on muscle tissue. I love how your videos follow the Tortora textbook. I downloaded your whole playlist.
Thank you so much for sharing I was lost once the chapter start talking about filaments, I thought wow it's like reading about cytoplasma, mitochondria all over again I was lost then and now I'm lost again, but I'm glad I came across your video you explain it to where I finally understand :-)
Thank you for teaching everything I am expected to know in AP!! My prof doesn't seem to think he has to explain the big picture before the details just because we are in college.
I am SO So happy i found your videos. This is helping so much and i have to say (it also) i wish you where my instructor. I am going to be watching these videos for the rest of the semester. They go right along with the book that i am using so that helps out a lot also. Thank you for taking the time to make them and sharing the videos. Thank you again
If it wasn't for your videos I'd probably be failing A&P 1. My professor can't teach like you can! Thanks to your videos and the way you teach, I have an A, and I just took my midterm and got a B on it. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
I have been waiting for so long for someone to post something like this and i am so thankful that i stumbled upon your channel... seriously thank you! i know this took a good amount of time and couldnt have been to easy!!! Us "NERDS" really appreciate your work!!!!
