Things I forgot to say in this video:
Redundant playback isn't dead or unnecessary. When the stakes are much higher (TV, arenas, etc), redundant playback has it's place. But in my entire career I've never had a show I've built fail (or even break 5-6% CPU). Today's computers are exponentially more powerful than the ones that were running back in the day when computer playback wasn't as stable, so if your playback session is designed *WELL*, there should be very little risk.
