Robyn Conway We’ve come a long way, back in the day they would have the rich watch on for their own amusement dissections on grave robbed bodies rather than medical progression, sometimes they would even have a little orchestra to play music. I can’t remember what country did this whether, it was the Victorians or the Romans, I should remember, there’s a big enough difference.

Yes, they should. I just had my appendix out and would love to know if I have a scar on my large intestine from where they removed it (it wasn’t laparoscopic, it was an open appendectomy), so I got a slightly larger incision than was planned!

I have had my small intestine out and a tethered cord I would like to know how they took it out and the scars and my back has a big scar and the stitches just disintegrated

Angela Gorohovsky My small intestines were twisted at birth and I had to go surgery to untwist them because nothing could pass through it that’s why I always vomited my food up

Get off totally gluten and OILS /margarine ... this is a must.. then buy digestive enzymes ( the more different enzymes the better ) and double dose for 6 months when eating.. should start feel better in 2 months.. this is a life time thing / diet

I have a few ideas, because what my own health is going through right now. *How about a video on Acid reflux, why does it happen and can it cause problems over time? *Video on Colitis or Ulcerative Colitis? What cause it?... What happens inside the colon? Where in the colon its mostly start, the beginning part , middle part or end part of the colon? *Anal fissures will be nice one. It all depends on what makes you sick. Most food that makes us sick is because the contaminating bacteria makes a toxin that damages the intestines and makes it so fluid is put into the intestines instead of being taken out. The toxins can act fast in about 3 hours, or longer in about 12-24 hours. On rare occasions the bad bacteria can colonize/infect the intestines themselves and cause sickness anywhere from 3 days or longer before the diarrhea starts. Most food infections comes from contaminated food preparation space. The bad bacteria is often on meat, but the meat gets cooked so you don't get sick from the meat, but if you put the meat on the counter, and then it is not cleaned before you chop your salad on that spot, the bacteria get on the salad and grow.

The bacteria has to multiply enough for it to affect you too. And it does so fairly quickly. Which is why people often go from being fine to puking their guts out so quickly in a couple hours

I'm a year late but again it depends on what's making u sick. The extra water actually comes from your system through osmosis. If it's due to indigestion or waste materials from your system these cause an imbalance between the solvents in the small intestine and those in the cells that make the tube. So the cells try to balance by giving their water to the stuff in the intestine. That's how yo get dehydrated. That's where the extra water comes from. I just learned some weeks ago (med school) so sorry if I made a mistake somewhere.

Gallstones? Or your gallbladder couldn’t empty bile due to a defect? I’m not a doctor so I’m not sure. I almost needed mine removed too, but they discovered it was my appendix that had ruptured instead. I got no explanation either, would be good if they made a video on this!

Funny Bone I had gallstones and they removed those and then had to take my gallbladder. I just was wondering what causes the gallbladder to mess up because the nurse I had mentioned spicy foods

Yea, its much easier when you have a lot of other references and don't have to memorize flat out. I always remember that the duodenum is first because that is where gastric acids can cause deadly ulcers by eroding into the duodenal artery. I can remember the ilium being last because of the iliocecal valve between the small and large intestines.

Pancreatic cancer is definitely rough. Part of the problem with the diagnostic process isn't the actual tools to diagnose the cancer, it's often how late patients will actually present to doctors office due to many of the symptoms being "non-specific" like nausea and abdominal pain.

The pancreas is also a very irregularly shaped organ and so the tumors look the same as the rest of the pancreas on imaging, until they are often quite large.

Depending on how devoted you are to a fatty diet, your liver should be able to compensate to some extent. Most people I know who have had it removed have almost no noticeable effects.

Its a Liver issue , NOT a Gallbladder issue.. Dr's are 20 years behind :/ .
