The fact of the matter is that THE ANC has reached expiry date and everything good they did is overshadowed by a lot of the bad and coupled with selfishness...the thought of thinking they own us as people on the ground by neglecting their original mandate THE PEOPLE SHALL GOVERN

Calling Mbeki to account for his letter is a mistake as it breaths more life to the phala phala saga, and exactly what mbeki banked on, the fact is that the ANC deliberately mishandled this issue, so there's nothing in the letter that the organization does not know, the meeting basically is to instruct the former president to keep quiet but the outcome wont be one they would desire. Mbeki wont let it sleep .

Mbeki is opening the eyes of the politicians and citizens alike, in his letter touching some critical issues for ANC to consider. But, you have those who are attacking him for writing the letter which is an open eyer for ANC and the country. Loyalty politics are at play from ANC CR Administration, rebuking the what the call "tendency of Mbeki". As if the current ANC is doing this correct, they do not want constructive criticism. The ANC really made a blunder when they assumed defence of CR on his private business in his farm. As Dr Msimang warned, the party should have not got involved. They only should have summoned him to explain, if nor satisfied with the answer. They should have asked the president to take a break a rest of party issues until the matter is resolved. CR conscience was correct when he resigned because of the noise around the Phala2. But when you have the likes of Gwede Mantashe advising you to rescind your decision. Surely, you must be careful because Gwede does not do things with no interest at play.
