I don't know I returned mine and got a Launch instead.

No sure the VCI is a J-Box, and where to find the drivers and J-2534 software for it either. It has a USB so I could try to plug it into windows and see what happens. It only requires an active subscription if you don't have the crack!

hi friend, i have a question. I cant use my ancel x7 hd truck scanner. it shows vci firmware update. But i cant update my vci firmware it shows "Vci update failed" how to update the vci firmware? hope you answer. Thank you

@@arianneashleyreyes2108 there's a USB cable in the box,in one of the bags...its a USB to Printer cable(not the charger cable)...use that cable..connect the USB to the tablet and the other end to the VCI,make sure you are on a good wifi signal and try to perform the firmware update..it should update with it connected directly 😉....if you still have issues,you might need to re-pair the VCI to the tablet via Bluetooth....if it still gives you an issue,let me know and I'll walk you through the reset process....also,there's an "Ancel X7 Owners" group on Facebook...join the group and I can post a video on the process,if it still acts up

Can you tell me if the obd 2 function is good for cars top on the heavy x7 hd? I'm trying to determine the scanner I'm gonna buy but I work on 18 wheelers and cars

Yes, but it comes with 2 years of updates, but when the updates stop it will still work you just wont get any updates.

I don't know I have never had to do that.

I don't don't do diesels, so I don't know how well the support them. I did return mine though. I found way too much stuff that didn't work on it, but I am sure they will get better.
